Welcome to the new server everyone!! Percy's Grow Room is faster than ever!
Bud, first time grower - growing Romulan and Romulan Kush,
First time grower (sort of - I grew a few plants in the backyard, about 15 years ago).
Was given seeds by a friend here (colacody). Romulan and Romulan Kush. 6 seeds.
I dropped them in water around 8:00PM, and will take them out in 24 hours.
I'll add pictures soon.
I really have no idea what I'm doing so this should be fun.
If Cody set you up you must be OK brother. Everyone here will help keep you on track if you have questions and it’s way more fun not growing alone. Welcome to your new favorite hobby.
Welcome to percys Bud, Glad you joined us, I am growing some of the same.

Which seeds are they exactly? I don't think I've sent out any of my Romulan x Romulan Kush crosses yet... is it a Romulan Kush x Romulan Kush perhaps?
Either way, epic that you're running them for your first go. You will like the end result.. I gare-on-tee. 😀
Sound like ya going to have lots of fun mate welcome
Welcome to Percys Bud, good luck with the grow!
Week 1 update.
@Colacody gave me some pointers (and the seeds!). Thanks brother, you the man.
Day 1. Seeds each went into their own cup of water to soak for 24 hours. After the time had elapsed, none of them had actually sank, but a couple of them were floating sort of half way down.
Day 2. Moved them into a pie plate with some wet paper towels in it. Put another wet paper towel on top. Waited another 24 hours.
Day 3. Moved them into the soil. Fingernail deep, loose soil on top. Keeping them in light, and keeping the soil damp but not soaked.
Day 7. First sprout appeared.
Day 8. 4 sprouts.
I'm so excited it's ridiculous. I'm like a little schoolgirl.
Awesome progress man! Gotta get a light ASAP on those...at least in the window with some sun.
And I know exactly how you feel about the exciting part man. So much fun watching them pop! Gonna be a great summer watching these guys grow!
My plants are getting tall, maybe 2-3 inches. They just have the clump of leaves at the top, and one of the 4 is sort of falling over. I'm keeping the soil moist, but not soaked, and they're getting light for about 18 hours a day. Next steps?
Pictures help mate. Hard to grow if we cannot see. I highly suspect you are getting too much stretch on the seedlings and if memory serves me correctly you are using cfl desk lamps. Correct? If so you need more light on the plants.
I'll get some pictures up later today. Thanks fellas
Pics of my plants. Where to go from here? Just more light? They're starting to bend over a little.
More light and yes, move the bulbs closer. If you have any extra cfl or led bulbs/lamps around they will help too. Avoid incandescent bulbs tho. Too much heat.
you can prop up the ones leaning over and rescue them. A little air movement will also help strengthen the stems as they grow. The seedlings should have a gentle shimmy to them while growing in the moving air.
Okay, thanks guys. I have the lights much closer now, and added an additional light
