I'm not even sure this is the right term and if there is a better one you know of please let me know. As I understand it, this is the practice of forcing clones to start flowering as soon as they've rooted. The result is very short, fully mature flowering plants.

I've had one reply on it in the New Members introduction forum

A friend did that. Sea of green. All less than 14" tall. Two or three massive buds each. Northern Lights. 1992. Lol. There were 30 or 40 plants. It was beautiful.

This sounds exactly like what I'm looking for. If anyone has more information about it, even if you just know what it's really called, please let me know

This was my process for my first ever coffee mug grow. It’s the easiest way to do micro grows because you harvest at least a month earlier this way. Far less time to do all the intense care some micros require.

I just finished your coffee mug diary and I'm impressed. I'm thinking now of reducing the footprint on this thing. I might not need 16x16". I need to get 25-30gms/month with the 3 staggered chambers. I'm wondering if I could 14"sq or even 12. The smaller the footprint the less this is going to cost in the long run.

@technopagan keep in mind it took a lot of fine tuning for me to get an ounce out of a coffee mug, but it is doable. I’m convinced it could be better but that’s what it usually gives me. If everything was running perfectly 4 small mug grows could potentially keep you stocked with bud if you’re estimates are correct but growers usually increase their use with easier and cheaper access to bud. Hopefully you’ll figure this all out, I’ve got my popcorn and am tuned in.
