I woke up this morning and found baby Grasshoppers on my plant. What can I do?
This grow started outdoors, so I know where the grasshoppers came from. What do I do now?
I do have some Dr. Zymes I am going to treat my plant with. The directions say use in low light conditions. So when I get home tonight after work the lights will be off. Can I go in there with a little light for just a couple minutes and spray that plant without the light affecting my plant?
Grasshoppers should he easy to spot so hand pick as many as you can. If they move too quickly try a vacuum cleaner to suck them off. I'd go with manual removal just because I don't like to spray my flowers if it can be avoided.
@monkeydo, would the Mosquito dunks do anything for this? There hasn't been a lot of grasshoppers in indoor grows problems lately.
@woodi2 No, the dunks only work on the larvae of the gnats and mosquitos, very selective
I would try Dr Rosenthal's organic spray first before using any synthetic based stuff, being your at this stage in flower you want to be real careful what you spray in that tent from here on out. You could also try some sticky traps laid flat to help control the population a bit as well.
You can use molasses as an attractant for some species of grasshoppers. Maybe put a dollop of some in the middle of a ring of sticky traps? 🤔

@bangswitch2a I had made a reply to your post, but did so when the server was being very sluggish, so it looks like it did not actually post. Another easy thing to do that could help is a black tea foliar spray because the caffeine in it is a pesticide non-toxic to humans. Here's a link with more info:
