Hi guys, not sure what these are, I’ve always had spring tails or what I believe to be spring tails in my coco? Not sure if that’s what they are? They look similar, plants don’t look unhappy other than slight tissue damage on some leaves. Help guys
@idealbatch they are called thrips if i am not wrong. 150% cold black tea sprayed on leafs multiple timer over a few days helps. I didn't really treat my plant because it was too deep in flower and i didn't want to risk mold but it's close to finishing and all is well. But better treat it if you can👍🏻

OK, on today’s interview with Clackmas Coot he dropped a couple of other simple organic items that act as insecticide, believe it or not.
First, take a tablespoon of lavender and steep it in a cup of hot water. The resulting liquid is high in the terpene linalool which is also found in many cannabis strains too. Apparently it’s not good for bugs
Another is to take fresh rosemary, chop it fine or crush it to expose the inner flesh and soak in water for a few days. This is also a terpene based bug control that can be applied via spray
I haven’t tried these out as I just got this info, but the source is good so I thought it was worth passing on.

@monkeydo Are they all spray things? I walked through a plant store yesterday and they have some organice repellent. One of the was garlic and chilli, ever heard of that? i need to look into this
@mr-buddster yes these were all applied as foliar spray. Just tossing out non toxic possibilities for consideration. Coot also mentioned chilli pepper oil as a deterrent but I thought it might be riskier getting that on a bud than linalool or pinene would be. Getting a lung full of capsaicin doesn’t seem fun
