So, these little nasty looking bastards have begun to appear on my sticky traps in the last week or so... not sure what they are or how they get there, as some of them seem pretty high up on the trap, and there is no way they would be able to crawl that far. This would imply that they're either flying, or dropping off the foliage (and oddly concentrating on the bottom of the trap). I don't think either are true, as they do not look like they have any kind of flying appendages, nor is the dropping likely, based on their conspicuous distribution on the traps. I thought initially they might have been my nematodes that had strangely crawled up the stick? Lol.. but they don't look like the nematodes at all, and nematodes only live in the moist soil so, not that either. I have no idea. They don't seem to be on the foliage, as far as I can inspect, and nothing has changed, growth-wise so... yeah. I'm gonna contact the couple entomologists that I've been chatting with and see what they think. Pretty gross looking little cocks though - and small. See the fungus gnats there for scale. Glad this grow is nearly complete... I'll be tossing the soil out into the frigid depths of winter soon... I've had enough bugs for quite a while.

haha it's all good. Springtails aren't bad I guess.. not great but, not like thrips or cunts like that... just kinda dirty. They'll all be frozen solid soon though...
springtails are actually good for the medium mate. They will eat decaying matter, and shit it out to be good plant food. If they get too muhc, just let the medium dry out and it kills most of them.
