I have tiny little critters in my coco, they come to the surface of the water when I feed the girls.

I noticed them a week or so after adding enzymes.

They haven't effected my plants as far as I can tell.

Nematodes maybe?

I think your right to be honest, I've been doing a smege of research and pretty sure your right.

Ones I had before were a light colour and were bigger , only in soil though.

There harmless anyway right?

I’m agreeing with macky. Springtails come in different species like everything else.

These are all over my woodworking this time of year. I just recorded this 10 minutes ago. They are “cotton springtails” and like the others are harmless. We had an explosion of these this year and I was concerned they would get into my grow but they turned out to be good guys and only east decaying plant material, like sawdust apparently.

@monkeydo appreciate your input.

Mine are a lot smaller and I can't really tell apart from the body's or any sort of antenna on there heads.

They've been there for long enough that if they were hurting my plants I would have noticed by now.

I'll try and get a video of them tomorrow.

They live in the coco and only come to the surface when watering, they also collect in my buckets from fun off

If anything I think there somewhat beneficial from what I've read.

@schroomy I was a bit worried but after a lot of reading it's seems there quite a good thing to have in somewhat small numbers, apparently they eat dead materials and break down into nutrition for the root zone.

I'll keep my little friends
