So i have a 2x5 tent (thats a 2x4 on its side btw) currently with around 30 seedlings under a migro 240w running at 60% approx..
I started out with around 40 of the mimosa #1 x Queens Black Lime Pie (which i consider to have the most potential). I have culled them down to around 20 and around 16 will go into flower when the time comes.
I am also running 3 of the kings juice x QBLP and a couple of the mimosa#2 x QBLP and a couple of the Mimosa Orange Punch x QBLP as samplers just to help my curiosity. These were culled down from around 7/8 seedlings each.
If i like what i see from the mimosa#1 crosses, and find good enough mums and dads, i may make some F2 seeds the same way as before, on a micro scale.
Here are some pics from the process so far...
at the start seedlings were sharing tent with a few mephisto autos
Along the way any showing signs of weakness / slow growth / mutation / less smell from stem rubs etc have been culled ... only the strongest, smelliest have survived the culls...
here a a few of the casualties of war that are no more..
This is where we are at now.. (autos long been moved on) ... the crazy leaf serrations are on the MOP cross - something inherited from the QBLP dad but the overall leaf shape is retained from the MOP
Also in the tent is are a couple of blueberry muffins (HSC) and a Pink Champagne (Conscious genetics) so i can have a little variety in my jars still (plus the autos ;).
The final selections will be potted up into 10L (2.5Gal) pots in a couple days from their current 2L (1/2 gal) pots, and flipped in a couple weeks when i get back from hol (hopefully) so we can see what we've got!

ok so here was the state of play as of 11 days ago prior to holiday...
managed to pot up 18 mimosa #1's and some samplers of the mimosa #2, mimosa orange punch and kings juice crosses into 10L (2.5gal) pots. Most went into my home-mixed re-amended soil and some into straight canna pro (mix of white and black peat).
here they are alongside some meph autos (under the migro)

lucas its a cheapo from amazon - about £80 i think
its a 2x4x5 which i use on its side (2x5x4) to increase floorspace at a loss of height which is fine for veg or autos
wouldnt recommend it for 12/12 as i dont trust it doesnt have light leaks but for veg or non-photo dependent plants (autos) i think fine.. cheap build quality but it works fine
