Grow Diaries Having a dabble at making some F1’s

Pollination looks like it has occurred in all selected branches as indicated by pistels turning brown, or so I believe. Pistels from non-pollinated bud sites remain white and straight:

Here is the Kings Juice mum looking good as are the others 

Remaining pollen has been dried then stored and will be frozen for long term use. 

Pollinated branches have been marked with green plant ties on stems ..

Now we wait and see … hopefully with luck in about 7-8 weeks I’ll have some seeded branches and the rest sensi! 
And the possibility to grow out some F1’s further down the line

You can't be far of making your own strain at this rate! XD

at least 2 maybe 3 but could be years to make something stable

Defo be up my alley intrigued of the whole process and idea of making your own strain is defo a growers dream 😅 just lacking that confidence atm but you inspiring bro

Seeds already appear to be forming within swollen calyxes

pretty certain pollination has occurred as these ‘pollinated’ buds are clearly different to the rest and upon close inspection the seed shape can be seen filling out the calyxes already.

The seeds will have a plenty of time to mature fully by the time I harvest the buds. 

Bit early to tell whether any extra pollination has happened but all looks ok from what I can see.

I’m sure they’ll be the odd extra seed in some of the other bud as pollen is potent and is designed to spread easily, so a rouge minuscule amount that goes awol could pollinate the lot in theory ..

fingers are still crossed 🤞 until we get over the line and i have a few large piles of sensi and a few small piles of select seeded bud - that be v nice 😊 

The QBLP female is starting to put out some attractive scents, some that I havnt come across before- would love a sweet limey Terp profile to come out of these and this one is defo in that direction 🙏

The mimosa mums and the Kings Juice are also starting to reveal some of their secrets, looking and smelling devine 😋. Types of Citrus is clearly detectable in all of em already.

The smells are just getting divine .. Mimosa Orange Punch has a wild strawberry scent which makes me  have a yearning for milkshake 😂

The others have limes and oranges and sweetness each subtly different, each insanely f-ing delicious ! 

The female QBLP has lime and gas and something unique I’ve not come across much of at all.. Terps and flavonoids galore are the order of the day 👍👊

bring on that sweet limey deliciousness … If you’ve ever had a mojito?, that’s the sweet lime taste I’m after 👌😉
