@monkeydo Looks like you did very well with your project and will keep you busy for some time.  I did more or less the same things minus the reversals last winter and that seemed to work very well.  I kept my plants small but still was able to harvest about few dozen to a couple hundred seeds from each of the 5 crosses I made.  

Being in Canada where we are allowed to grow up to 4 plants (at least in Ontario) I thought it be best to make the seeds indoors during the winter just incase some pollen drifts out my exhaust fan, I didn't want to contaminate any of the neighbours' outdoor plants.  

I picked 2 of my new crosses to do a small run of this spring and they are almost ready to chop, probably in the next week or two.  They look promising.  

Perhaps next winter I'll look at doing a reversal project.  

Aprox 500 feminized Crystalline Entity seeds!!

The last 2 seeded plants came down last week. I was trying to let them go as long as possible but opened the tent one morning to find the top 2 inches on one cola of Blue Dream with bud rot. Fortunately I caught it early and there was minimal loss. One nice thing was so that those buds are rock solid so rather than destroy them to get at the seeds, they are jarred and curing and the seeds will be free eventually as the bud is used. I got about 45 seeds from lower larf already so I know there’s more to be found in the mains 🤞. This closes out this project but I’ll still be making fems as quality genetics presents itself. Got plans for a couple currently in veg if they are female and look good

The next 2 plants being reversed, Gruber Hans, and Cherrygasm. The larger one is from seed and the smaller is a cloned top. Both are regs and I’m not sure if they are male or female.. yet! If they are male the balls should show up in a week or two. If it’s female the balls take longer, 3-4 weeks usually. First spray with homemade STS was done on Wednesday so probably another spray or two before we can cull anything. A few others are growing, not yet large enough to flower, that are scheduled for reversal and seed making

They might be small, but balls on an untreated plant isn’t any good. This one is gonna be compost tomorrow.

So far the 2 plants that are being treated aren’t showing any signs of sex yet. I’ll take this as a good sign as the males usually show up in just a week or so. It’s been 3 sprayings so far with no balls yet

One thing about reversing these, there’s no sign for quite a while before things start to happen. Probably another week or maybe 2 before signs of pollen pods start showing 🤞Another unreversed plant has been added to the flower tent to find a pollen recipient. Timing is a tiny bit off but should be good enough for the results we are looking for. There are a few more to get started on the spray to make seeds. My tents are looking a lot like Stootie’s now. There are plants everywhere 😉

@monkeydo Pollinated Rosetta Stone @brothersgrimmseeds about a week ago. This was a clone I have in a 1 gallon pot.  The male donor was pineapple Express from premium seed market.

I also used him to selectively pollinate lower branches of OG, Kush, alien OG and Mota Hari.  Those plants will be chopped in about a week.

I’ve grown a few strains from PSM with very good results. How have your experiences with them been?

@monkeydo I made some chocolate chip cookies from the last two males I cut down after  decarboxylation of  the leaves.  Glad I didn't completely toss them. Not as strong as the girls but eat two cookies and it's a good time

@Monkeydo have you read any on injecting STS? That my next step, I've got to get insulin syringes now. It sound very interesting and is suppose to be even more affective application, the solution changes slightly I think. Wish I was a chemist or knew one, that sure would help things along. 🤣 This hobby is very demanding!! 

I think I didn't add enough soap to my STS, must not have stuck well enough. The plant did reversed but in a strange way. 

Now I found the stuff to reverse Males!!! when will the madness Stop! 🤣  I could do a double reversal!! back to where you started. LMAO
