@mix The last stuff I used had been froozen for about 5 months I think, Im still waiting to see if it worked or not, I did think a saw a couple of fat cats that there might be seeds in but I really cant tell yet. I have used stuff that's been frozen for a while and it did work but I cant remember how long.

The plant that is to be reversed usually takes 30-45 days to fully reverse

I was forgetting this might take longer than a normal male plant and I flipped both my plants yesterday. The Panama is a long flowering strain though so do you think it will be ok or would I be better pulling the none sprayed girl back out for a couple of weeks and then flip her?  I wasn't really all that bothered if the 2nd pland got pollenated or not just as long as I get seeds from one of them.  The first Panama I grew went for 15 weeks after flipping.

i was wanting to pollinate the other black domina & the bubblegum however there 4 weeks ahead.

Maybe cut yourself a clone off that black domina, let it re-veg under 18\6 for about a month, then decide what you want to do with her. This was my process with Strawberry Cough and I’ve got seeds for days out of her. Seed making takes time so try to find a way to get it done in the background while still growing your meds. Seeds are great but running out of medicine would suck bad. Another thing to consider… once pollinated the seeds need a minimum of 5 weeks to develop properly and 8 weeks is even better. I was fortunate to have sufficient supply of bud so I technically could last till Christmas easily. This has allowed me to focus 100% on seed making this time around without needing to rush and it’s been very nice not to need to worry about my bud supply. Still got 2 weeks till the first batch of crosses are ready, then another 3 weeks for another batch, and then another 3 weeks past that for some S1’s to finish. By the time this is over I should be swimming in seeds.

@stootie flipping both at the same time is OK but not ideal. Yes, a reversed female takes 4-6x longer to open the pollen sacs so that’s something to take into consideration. I’ve been seeing most sprayed females giving viable pollen around 5 weeks after flip with only one going faster. On my Strawberry Cough project I flipped one seedling when I started spraying and another one two weeks later. The early flipped one produced over 1300 seeds, the one flipped 2 weeks later was somewhere in the 500’s. Either is an acceptable outcome in my opinion as you’ll never grow out 500 seeds yourself but you could let the seed mature longer in the late fertilized plant theoretically making better seeds. If you think letting buds ripen seems painful slow, try waiting for seeds to ripen. It feels like it takes forever.

@monkeydo It's the same old story, not enough planning before planting the throttle 🤣

Iv just taken her back out of the flower tent and got her under a cheap light again. Im glad I did because I noticed my 100w light in my small tent was glowing. It was turned off but there was still a tiny glow in all the leds. It's probably on the way out but I just unplugged it for now. I'll need to remember to pull the plug now at every lights out.lol Thanks Monkey 🙂 👍

I’m only a moderate electrical technician but when you see that faint glow issue, it can be a wiring issue. I saw this a lot early on when I switched to led bulbs in lamps around the house that were connected to an electronic switch system we used. In that case it was the control modules causing the problem. Try plugging the light directly into the wall and see if the symptoms change. It could be your timer. Other than that, I’ve seen someone here talk about the dim diode thing somewhat recently. Maybe it was Sparky? Maybe someone else?

@monkeydo I dont use a timer but it is plugged into an extension lead with my dehumidifier, heater and fan. I'll try plugging it straight into the wall later and see what happens. But as long as it still works I dont mind plugging and unplugging it when needed.haha

It's really too small for that tent so if it does stop working it'll be a good excuse to get somethine else. It does look like a wiring fault somewhere though because it was flickering a bit too. I'll see  how it does though. cheers man

@monkeydo @stootie GB and stoney have had this issue.  both times it was an outlet in the circuit that was wired in wrong. Reversing the polarity when the hot wire and the neutral wire get switched. this causes the current to flow backwards thru an appliance.

When we use timers to control the lights they will open the connection of the hot wire ( black one here in the US) to turn off the lights when the circuit is wired correctly.  but when the ciruit is wired incorrectly the timer opens the neutral circuit ( white wire in the US) leaving the hot wire active to the light. this has resulted in leaving  usually the red diodes dimly lit when the timer turns the lights off. the power can still flow from the neutral thru the ground. Im not sure why it only affects certain diodes and not all of them. but  this can be a serious electrical hazard. one place i lived had the refrigerator and stove next to each other and when you touched both at the same time you would get shocked. the cause was one outlet in the circuit wired in backwards.

there is a cheap tester (6 usd) that can be used to test the polarity of the outlets called a receptacle tester. or you can pull each outlet and look at them for correct wiring.

if your circuit has 6 outlets on it  and the first 2 are correct but the 3rd one is wired wrong it will affect all outlets from the 3rd one.

Its easy to blame the manufacture or the appliance but the problem is usually in the circuit.

Hope this helped  if i confused you send me a PM and ill try to explain it better

@twisted1 that’s why I love this place. I do remember the thread but not every detail. Totally makes sense that switching the wrong leg can cause the issue. Power is still draining through the ground circuit via the diode cascade voltages and it doesn’t take a lot of voltage to dimly light a led. I wouldn’t have noticed it on incandescent lamps tho. Thanks for the info brother 👊

@monkeydo No problem i felt it was important to put that out there as it could be a electrocution hazard, and seems to be a common issue since many people will change out a bad outlet them selves instead of having an electrician do the job. several outlets were like that when i bought this house.  @Stootie  you stated you dont use a timer,, do you just use the switch? the switch works the same as the timer as far as only opening the connection on the hot side. im not sure why it only affects some diodes and not others id have to dive into the schematics, but some diodes like the white ones run at 1watt while others (red) run at 5w on the same board and it may have something to do with the way they regulate power to different components that allows the ghost power issue to happen with reversed polarity. in a proper circuit this would never be an issue. this is why i suggested checking that first.
