Hey. How are you guys making rosin? Machines look expensive but, can you get good yield and the temperatures you want using an iron or hair press? I'd be using for home use to make e juice.

@janecekd me and @chillbert were just on about this in the chat he's got one from China it's kp-1 I believe but from what he says it works but not the best unfortunately the really good ones are going to make a dent in funds you could make one yourself with the right parts like heating plates 4ton jack and some sort of case to house it in I'm no expert but that's all it seems like it is to me

it is sour stomper by mephisto at 62% humidity approx
pressed at 200f in a 160u bag in my press for around 60-70 seconds
i pressed 2 lots of 10g and received 4g of primo terpy rosin.. a very good return of 20%

I run a 4ton press and used to use the wife's hair straightener before I got my press, it works and you will get rosin from nuggets but if you plan on making decent amounts I would recommend a press, the better the press the pricier it gets, but worth every penny if you plan on using it often and with bigger amounts.
