Does anyone have any experience with this seed companies own brand, I ordered a few different stains (single seed of each) I'm lucky dipping rather than pheno hunting but 5 out of the 7 had no real vigour in comparison to the other 2 that I've kept, I'm budding a tester of each but would love to know if anyone knows anything good or bad. the stains are skunk #1 fast version and bruce banner fast version, apparently reversed autos so have a shorter flower time.

No sorry dude, I've got own brand of another company, and I had 50/50 success, I found when I only bought a single seed of a strain, it was generally not a very good looking seed. I would like to know where they get their genetics from, and how good it actually is. I would probably stick to well known breeders next time. But still interested in how these do. Good luck!

It was just a try out anyway, my main crop is mostly a known cut I got from a friend.

Well after smoking both the bruce banner (fast version) and the skunk #1 (fast version) I can say I'm really happy with both, which really was a massive surprise. I'm keeping both in the mother plant room, the bruce banner is really tasty fruity diesel the skunk #1 is fruity/spicy and has really early trike covered bud.
The bruce is going into rotation in my main flower room and the skunk I'll be taking a shit load of clones for this summers gorilla grow. I've always wanted to do an outdoor grow but was never in a position to do it for free/minimal investment. My dog is going to get plenty of walks this summer.

Well it's 6 weeks since I flipped them to 12/12 and they are beautiful and look like they will produce some very high quality buds. But nowhere near ready, I know they wont be done next week either 🙁
As far as I can tell at this stage their skunk #1 are a thumbs up. Just don't pay any attention to the flower time.

WoodI2 March 3, 2023 8:13 pm @phil-the-canopy, these dates are merely a suggestion, much like a stop sign. The trichomes will tell you best. Some phenotypes may have finished quicker but the truth is a lot of breeders use the time line as a general statement to blanket everything. You could try and find other diaries and see what their time lines were and that may give you a better guess. 👍

March 3, 2023 8:39 pm I tried to do some research but because of how I selected these stains. Picked 8 different fast version strains from the same company and pick the two most vigorous from seed to teen plant. So now I have a skunk #1 and bruce banner 'fast version' mother. They both out shone the others by a mile in veg so culled the others as I only have limited space.
The clones from the skunk are easily rooted in 6 days, 8 days earlier than the bruce banner. So decided to start an experiment grow as the skunk had out paced the others. They had 7 days in 10cm3 pots while the others were still rooting, then straight into flower. I'm going to enjoy the bud but the selling point of these is 1-2 weeks less flower time.
They were really fast in veg but are no where near done flowering 🙁
