So I was at the Grow store the other day and ran into a Old Friend. He was telling me about his last grow and how he used nothing but Banana water on his plants during late veg through flowering. I’ve never heard of anyone doing this honestly and it does make some sense. So I was wondering if anyone has ever used “Banana Water” on there plants and if they had good results.

Is he fermenting the bananas and peels then using that as nutrients? Or is he just giving his plants a smoothie?? Haha

-Abraham Lincoln- kinda

He said he just soaks all his peels in water for like 24 to 48 hrs then uses that water to feed his plants all through flower.

That sounds like what’s called “banana tea”. It’s going to be high in potassium. I’ve never used it but have seen posts where growers killed or almost killed their plants with this. It works, sort of if you know exactly how to do it but you should do some more research before trying it. Personally I can’t offer any more info than this.
