Hi everyone. Second year growing, first year mentoring a friend. He has 2 plants outside, 2 feet apart. Both have grown fairly equally so far. But one has flowered, and the other is still in veg.
We’ve done cursory light examinations etc but that isn’t obviously the issue. The fact they the one is in flower is perplexing. Any suggestions on how to push the outdoor plant j to flower?
Not the same Mackey… the unflowering plant is a Green Crack clone. I’ve got its sister growing and it’s behaving as expected.
The other is Medical Mass grown from seed, and also developing as anticipated.
Bag it up. Only thing u can do to make it flower. One old school guerrilla trick is to put it in bag for a week and then remove the bag, that starts the flowering process, and depending on ur light cycle it might not turn back to vegetative state. Theres atleast three different flower triggers, between autoflower and photoperiod. For example many strains show their sex in 18/6 light. And early buds should flower in that cycle, but most just shows their sex.
Also feeding nitrogen to it, prevents the flowering and phosphore does the opposite.
