I've read that coco needs to be rinsed before use to remove dust particles so as not to clog up root growth. My Coco says its been pre-buffered.
- Do I need to rinse this medium or am I good to mix it up with perlite and get cracking?
- If I do rinse with a colander and water will I remove the buffer?
- If rinsed should I let the coco dry out before using?
The prebuffered stuff that comes in a bag is suppose to be ready to mix with perlite and go. If you start with the dry compressed bricks, they need rinsing and buffing before use.
