I heard in the podcast about running both autos and photos at the same time . My question is would I start the autos first then the photos so that I won't end up over vegging the them and then flipping one the autos are finished? Is so approximately how far in advance ? I have a 4 x 4 x 6 grow space and do not want to over crowd the ladies.

Hey, good question. You would want to start the Auto's first. They can run on a 18 hr day. Then you can start your photo's. They will also run on a 18 hr day till you flip them and start flowering. The Auto's don't care if it's day or night they will do their own thing. So as far as starting time difference, that's up to you and your schedule. But it also depends on your grow medium, soil, coco, hydro. Have you grow photo's or auto's before? Just curious why you want to do both at the same time. I do auto's cause they don't sleep, but that's no real reason. lol Good luck my friend. Keep the questions coming. peace
Start the autos first, then start the photos later so they can veg alongside the autos. Once the autos are done then flip them. It all depends on timing and how long you want to veg the photos for. If the autos are 8-9 weeks then you probably want to start the photos around the 4-5 week mark for a 4-5 week veg time. This is not an exact science as different strains can take longer or shorter than expected. Also once you flip the photos your going to have to wait to plant any more autos because of the light cycle.
Yes I have grown photos and am currently running autos. The reason why I would like to do both at the "same time " is because only have one grow tent and can't really start a perpetual system. This would be my way of having something to smoke on a more consistent basis. I run a hybrid mix of mother earth coco perlite and Malibu baby bu's biodynamic soil blend.
