Hello all,

Any tips on what to expect and what to do for seedlings (three sets of true leaves) that were exposed to ~1000 PPFD for their whole cycle (up to this point)?

They are under ~250 PPFD now. Treated with gypsum + epsom + seaweed foliar spray at lights out the past two nights. In coco + perlite.

Pics would help. But really all you can do is correct the environment and move forward. They will be affected but they will move forward. Photo's you got recovery time. Auto's, if they are in a good growth mode. So they are what, about 2-3 weeks old?  What's your in and out numbers? EC, PH, feeding schedule, shoe size, normal stuff. I'm not a coco guy but the info will be needed.  Good luck 👍

Dunno my out numbers, but pH in is 6-6.5 (getting better test strips soon).

Nobody likes to hear this but you really would be so much better off if you just saved up and purchased a good ph meter. They are so much more accurate for hydroponic growing. I initially tried using strips and my plants did suffer for it because it wasn’t accurate enough and every feeding was a little different. It’s really stressful for plants to have to deal with ph issues constantly. When I switched to using a meter my plants were at least twice as vigorous. That showed me the accuracy of the strips wasn’t good enough.

Thanks a lot @monkeydo Yeah - I know I need to, and will! But it won't happen in time for this cycle sadly. Any tips on DIY pH Up techniques? I'd rather not buy a bottle of something if I can just find a powder at a brew shop or garden center. THB, I'm a bit afraid of using lime though - feels like a good way to kill everything overnight...

Recently my seedlings suffered from 400w MH, stunted it completely didnt move for a week, took it out and under CFL light for a couple days, and now its mutating out of the dead existing leafs that surfaced and formings new ones lol so with that in mind perhaps just give them a bit of time, with correct climate like 21-25c and 55-65 humidity and weaker light

Thanks @Woodl2 and @Lucas3330. Dunno my out numbers, but pH in is 6-6.5 (getting better test strips soon). No real feeding yet, just that above calmag + seaweed homebrew.

A little more than 4 weeks since popping. I fist thought something might be wrong when they sort of stalled and started yellowing at the first set of true leaves.

They are photos, indica landrace (PVK) and indica dom hybrid (Jillybean) if that makes any difference?

Representative photos are attached below (I hope!)

Hey @dr.jitter.bug well they are little ones. Well if you don't have the gadgets and things yet, you'll just have to fly by feel. So with little ones like these they need a lot of moisture. So either turn on a humidifier or you can make a plastic dome to put over them. You eventually want a humidistat and a thermometer. Keep your humidity at 70-75%. Temperature 80-85/ 27-29?. Your in soil or coco so you'll have to get info from growers experienced with those mediums. The Cal/mag is good for starters, but there are Grow Guides here at Percy's for coco that can help. Sorry that's all I got for you for now. Give a shout out again if you need more help. Good luck buddy! 👍            peace

Updated images. Seem like they are doing ok? The color has improved a lot and the rate of growth seems to be improving. Not sure why the foreground plant in the first image has claws, it hasn't been fed at all yet...
