Questions Should I add Cal Mag when using Advanced Nutrients Coco Bloom A & B and Big Bud Coco

I recently switched to flower and started using Bloom A & B and Big Bud.  A & B have 3% Calcium and .9% Magnesium.  Big Bud has 1% Calcium and .5% Magnesium. The volume ratio of A/B/Big Bud is 2 removed link

I'm keeping the EC of the mix at or below 1.4.

Throughout veg and early flower, I was adding 1ml per gallon of Cal Mag supplement (3.2% Calcium and 1.2 Magnesium), and my plants did very well. The volume ratio of the Grow A/B/Cal Mag was 8 removed link

Should I supplement with Cal Mag when using the above combination?  If so, how much?

Thanks in advance.

Just wondering if this might be a typo as I start in veg then switch to bloom. Either way, I am currently using both the AN Sensi Coco nutes as well as Fox Farms Big Bloom (and some other stuff too). I also start with rainwater as my base so no calcium or magnesium in it whatsoever. Once they are actively growing I mix 20ml of cal/mag into 5 gallons of water so just over a ml per liter keeps my girls happy all the time. Cal/mag use is very high in mid flower and to get past this stage smoothly I like to do 2 Epsom Salts sprays at flip to satisfy magnesium needs and keep cal/mag consistent throughout the run. Also remember that you are also feeding the coco with cal/mag and if there isn’t enough the coco can rob it from the plant causing ugly deficiencies

@monkeydo Yes, it was a typo.  I've edited my question.  Thanks for the information.  I did an epsom salt foliar spray when I flipped the lights and another three days ago (one week after flip).  I'll continue adding Cal Mag at the same rate or maybe bump it up slightly.  I use tap water with an EC of .3.  I may set up a rain barrel some day.  (This hobby can nickel and dime you to death!)

I have tap water with EC of 400 out of the chute. My guess is that's mostly calcium and magnesium.

I use both the coco A+B and the big bud, and I still give 4mL per gallon of cal mag.

The plant (and the coco) will take only what they want. You seldom hear of calcium or magnesium poisoning.

@lousytourist My tap water has an EC of 300.  I do not know what is in it.  It is piped to my house from a water treatment plant. My concern was overdoing the Cal Mag, but it sounds safe to pile it on during the flowering phase.  I'll keep using it and bump it up a bit.

Very true but an excess of cal/mag can lock out other nutrients like pk. The 4ml/gallon is right in line with what I’ve found to be effective in my tent
