Daniel McQueen is a psychedelics specialist and author of a book called" Psychedelic Cannabis". He also runs a clinic in Colorado that treats people with different mental health issues like depression, anxiety and PTSD. To treat these conditions his clinic uses cannabis, psilocybin, ketamine and maybe soon, DMT too! We have a great discussion about how medicine is progressing in Colorado and how these natural medicines can really help people suffering with different mental health conditions.

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”
― Mark Twain
Has anyone else experimented with psychedelic cannabis? I bought Daniel’s book right after the interview and the Mrs and I have been playing with the information on blends for better psychoactive experiences. I had forgotten how interesting some blends can be. It’s almost like amplifying the potency by 2 or 3 if you hit on a good combo

@monkeydo Is that something like the Zamaldelica that im growing now, it says the mother plant, Zamal, is famous for its extreme vigor and legendry psychedelic effect, but it's the first iv heard about it so famous or not I wouldn't know but I love the sound of it.
I didn't even order that strain, I ordered some other Ace seeds strain but it was out of stock so I got Zamaldelica instead, I think it was from Pips. I cant wait to try it but I'll likely have to 😆

@stootie not really the same. Daniel talks about mixing certain strains to boost the effect and get into somewhat of a psychedelic experience. He talks about using African strains but I don’t have any atm so I have experimenting with what I have. He recommends African Sativa blended with a pure indica. Strawberry Cough mixed with Nakatomi Plaza hit particularly hard. Durban Poison is in my next rotation for the African strain

I accidentally stumbled across the psychedelic effect of cannabis when I combined it with meditation. I then saw Daniel's book listed on Audible and thought it worth exploring. Unlike in the book, I've found edibles or oil alone more effective, perhaps being more prolonged or sustained. I haven't had to look for any particular strain or combination. Perhaps I am just fortunate in this respect.
I attend a weekly group where we meditate mainly using guided breath work and solfeggio frequencies. Combining it with cannabis takes it to another level.
Time to grow old disgracefully.
@monkeydo Iv still not had a chance to listen to it but that sounds like interesting stuff. I think Zamal is an African Sativa, it says the mother was chosen for it's trippy effects and it says she was pollinated by a powerful Malawi killer to create Zamaldelica, a sativa hybrid with terrific lysergic effect, whatever that means. I thought it said lethargic like lethergy or whatever that word is for lazy.lol
I dont know anything about the Malawi killer though Iv never really done any research on this strain or where it came from, but im going to have a listen to this later and see what he has to say 🙂

Malawi was one of the African strains he talks about as useful in the psychedelic experience. The others I remember were Durban Poison, and Congolese. I think some decent concentration of THC-v is important for the mix to get the advertised effect.
Tried mixing white rhino and green crack last night. No unusual effects and because you’re supposed to use more than normal to achieve the goal, it just made me go to sleep earlier than usual.
Next time I buy beans ima keep those African beans in the front of my mind
