Is it possible to make a clone from the part removed when topping ?

Any opinions appreciated 👍

Yep it's possible, I have clones of a Topping and also from accidental breakages when doing LST, from autos, how good they'll end up being I'll have to wait and see but they look alright

I run mostly seeds but the few clones that I have taken have been mostly tops. Sometimes they take a bit longer to root I’m told but have nothing to compare to. They grew just fine.

Man this is why I love percy so much , personally no idea nothing , back of a postage stamp , im like a sponge lads

Imo it's the best part of the plant to root, stem should be thick and green.

Cut all large leaves in half 

Cut base of stem at 45% angle and dip it in honey, if you don't have any rooting gel.

You root the cutting in perlite or a cool soil mix, coco etc 

Keep humidity high ( could use a sandwich bag over the pot or put a glass upside down over the top of the cutting ) and refresh the air every day should root in 2-3 weeks 

Use a low watt light, strong light to close to the cutting will kill the clone

Does not work on autos

Yes, infact you can top a plant a few shoots down and root them, that's what I am going to do with my current grow, going for some 4-6" long clones

The bottom of the plant fans out and you remove the top and root it 

you get a very large clone in 3 weeks and a very bushy plant. Win win 

As long as its green and healthy you will be fine, after topping the plant it will stop drinking for a few days so becarefull not to over water them 

Best to take the cutting a day after watering the plant ( if your growing in soil)

If things go to plan, I will be toping 5 plants on Sunday 

Tried to get a good picture of one of  my plant today, so you can get better idea of what I am going to do.

Count 4 sets of shoots up and cut the main stem, just above this set of shoots, make sure all 8 shoots (4 sets)have good quality light by moving or cutting some fan leaves.
