Yeah, I'm doing what @woodi2 is doing. I might be looser with EC when I first drop them into the water, but once I think they stand any chance of drawing anything in, I manage EC, Ph, etc.

Right on @matommy, Here's something to chew on. lol  The PH is the next question after the topic of the EC is handled. Like @Sevan stated what about the PH? IMO, At first I adjust every couple days and knock it down as needed, being a "water baby" I keep the PH at 6.0. Then once roots start I monitor daily and it isn't long before they move on.

So here's my question and maybe you'll understand this one, I stated it before but it must be my accent that is confusing people. lol

If I have a Hydro cloner that Sprays water on the clones and I root the clones in a salt base nutrient solution that is PH at 6.0 but then I transplant to living soil when the plant has Hydro Roots, which are different from Soil Roots, and the soil PH is higher at 6.8.

So should I PH clones for soil at the higher PH during the rooting process in the cloner?

Is it better to root soil clones in soil because mine that come from the hydro cloner to soil are like wtf? and they take a good week to change over, where if they go from cloner to hydro system they just kick ass.  I guess I'll have to try the soil clone method, the hydro is fast though.

@woodi2 I also transplant hydro clones to soil, and it seems to go OK though, as you note, there is a bit of an adjustment period. But I will keep doing this because I like seeing the clones' roots form and I like knowing where they are.

My opinion on the Ph question, not based on anything factual or credible, would be to Ph for the medium you're in at the moment, not the medium you plan to be in.
