Im a lazy fuker, but I resolve to finsih this diary and keep it updated. Phew!
So im finally gonna try growing out a proper seed from scratch. I think I have a fair understanding of Coco. I am currently also growing out a rouge seed from a hermied GSC that is being helped along by you folks in another thread around here. That grow has kinda gone soso, its messy and big and thin and meh. But we shall see.
So, current tent is 4x4, will probably get replaced by something much smaller as soon as the big plant in here is done. Lights I have available to me a 240w LM561 and a 120w LM561 board driven by Meanwell HLG.
Nutes are a self made blend with expected resultant ppm's at full strength attached. I also have a CalMag concoction. So far they seem to be not killing the plants. Nutes will always remain an unverified element and we will just play along making adjustments. pH down is a phosphoric acid dilution.
Seed is a freebie from my first and successful order with Herbies seeds. Thanks to them and I can vouch for exceptional customer service. Seed is the Gorilla Glue Automatic.
Im a lame grower, who wants it all to just happen on its own. Im learning the hard way thats easier said than done. So help me along while I kick myself in the butt over and again.

Brick. Cleaned and washed well, then buffered overnight in a CalMag solution with an EC of 2. Flushed to bring EC down to 0.1

Seed goes into a paper towel, and the damn thing has a tap root showing within 24hours. Moved it to the grow bag a bit late, tap was an inch long and hairy.
Gently moved to the coco and she pops up a day and night later! 
Day 1. 21/04/2021.

Day 2.5 (Now)
She was putting on a bit of a stretch, left her overnight under a dome. Light brought closer to bout 30 inches (i dont have a dimmer on this board)
The spikes are part of a drip watering system i hope to implement.

All looking ok for Day 2 ? Lights ill run 18/6. Its gonna get hot in the coming weeks. Mid to high 30's. Let us see.

@galandil hehe! Yup. Thats the next time. My past 2 attempts in soil failed miserably. I could not even get tomatoes to germinate. So whole plan needs a revisit with help from here.
@meisme well as in everything soil is not always soil, I use soil from BioBizz and never had any issue. Just make sure you store it correctly, nothing really hard to do, dry, dark, room temperature place.
@galandil So im in south Asia, and we have nothing of any brand here. Hence the DIY nutes and no clue on the soils...
@meisme well that explains it. Anyways I'm sure you'll do the best job you can do adn a bit more, stay happy, positive and things will work out
Alright, quick adjustment in. Earlier today evening I brought the light closer as I thought im seeing a bit of a stretch. Can anyone verify ?
Forgot I had a lux meter around and I measured. At seedling lux read at 13K, and I read thats a bit much. So adjusted to bout 7500 lux now. Or bout 38".
Help me get me some juicy buds folks.

Day 3 routine over earlier today evening. She is getting leggy?
Bout 2¾ of an inch tall now. Mild feed with an EC of 0.4 (Bg 0.15) base nutes, pH 5.8
Im using RO water and I wish we could edit earlier posts. No relevance to anyone, but I have mixed in a new recipe for the nute concentrates to try out.
Also lightly misting her a cople of times a day with plain tap water which has an EC of bout 0,6

So day 4 today. More of the same. Waiting for the root ball to take hold I suppose.
Feed today was 1ml each of CalMag+Fe and A+B base nutes, for a total EC of 0.58 (background EC 0.15) and a pH of 5.8. Runoff was EC 0.615 and pH 6.15, so I think ill let her be for a couple of days bwtween feeds, or do I still continue to feed daily ?
She is 3" tall now, and I have lowered the light a bit for a reading of bout 9000 Lux on the plant. Is this ok ?

You want to water a bit every day in coco but this early skipping a day probably wouldn’t hurt anything. To promote root growth water in a circle a bit away from the stem and the roots will reach for the moisture. You have it right, the focus right now is building that root system. Once she has that you will see a faster growth rate. If you have any Rhizotonic or other root stimulator now is a good time to use it to speed root development. Looks healthy right now, good work.

I asked wife her last trip to the UK to get a few acclaimed products, but honestly haven't got my head around how to best use them. Could you please so kind and have a look at these products and advise ?

Might need some other eyes on this as this isn’t close to anything I’ve used. The Mycorr looks to be for the rhizosphere so that would be good now. I’d go 50% of recommendation

A quick update, day 6 i thinks this is. First set of leaves are growing out.
She is still keeping to 3 inches a day later and I think I have the light dialled in then.
Todays feed after a days break was slightly elevated
Background EC 0.15
CalMag addition to EC 0.35
Base nutes to final EC of 0.66 || pH 5.8
Then I added bout 1gm of Mycorr micorrhizae bacteria etc to the 3litres feed.
RH 35%, temps @ 31.5c
Looking ok I think ?

Quick update on day 8. She is getting along fine me thinks ? Anything I can do to help her along ?
RH is 37% and temps are 34c. I mist her a couple of time a day using tap water.
Feed today was 1.ml/l of CalMag and 1ml/l of Base nutes for a total EC of 0.65
Lights are now @ 18/6 (started at 12/12 eased over to 18/6 over the past week) She is now bout 4" tall, hitting bout 10K lumnes on the plant. A bit much ?

But to me it looks like shes coming along lovely 
The only thing I did wonder about was your RH and temp, In the guide on here it says the RH should be 60-70% and Temp should be 20-25c
But that maybe depends on the grow too. Good luck mate, she'll be a big lady before you know it 
@stootie yeah, nowhere close to ideal on the environment. But to do anything around here would mean using an aircon, and the electricity expense im unwilling to accept.
Let us see. For the humidity, I could possibly get a humidifier, but then that too would add to the temps, so...

RH is still low and temps are now curtailed to the low 30s
Light is a 120w LM561c HLG driver quantum board 3500k @ 31" for 10,000 lux.
Funny how it grew a second set of first leaves (the single blade one, what they called) before I got the fan blades. 2nd pic. Any concern ?
