Seed in paper towel with organic Rev and a bit of Recharge in the water. Hopefully she will pop by tomorrow and I can get her into the soil.

PBC girl popped out of the coco, so tiny and adorable. 😄 The fun begins!
Been a few weeks since I have updated this one but the PBC is doing great! 👌 I transplanted into a 3 gal pot while I was already doing the Blackberry Autos and since she has taken off!
@chickenlizard I use 8inchx4inch biodegradable nursery bags. You can find them for dirt cheap on Amazon. They make things alot easier when transplanting. I'm definitely a fan

I was finally able to get the Blackberry girls out of this tent so that this girl can get all of the light and room! Been bending and adjusting her daily and she is starting to look nice!
Growing well with the tent to herself (mostly, 2 seeds sprouting in the corner).
Been bending and adjusting her daily, taking off minimal leaves, only the ones preventing light from reaching potential colas. Not topping at all but getting pretty similiar results this way.
In the next few days I'm gonna defoliate and lollipop a bit, then its about time to flip to flower! Been taking my time with this girl, but she is gonna overgrow the tent if I don't flip soon. 😆
Defoliated, lollipopped and took some clones tonight. Will give her 3-4 days to recover then flipping to flower!
Morning after her severe haircut and lollipop, she is praying and happier than ever!
Bounced back beautifully after her lollipop so I flipped her to flower as of last night! I am going to up the silica just a bit in her feed to keep stems strong while also helping to limit stretch and keep her manageable in the small 2x2. Tomorrow I will be tieing her down very gently with some garden wire.
Also a picture of some feeder roots tearing through the fabric starter pot. Doesn't even phase em.

@shonuff, she a happy plant man, looks great. Root are amazing, they come in all shape and sizes. Cleaning up cord roots after a harvest, I can see what they've been doing. Tough buggers! lol Good luck Bud!
What kind of silica are you using and how often do you apply? Got some powdered stuff from RAW but never used it 🤔
@greentomato any form of plant available monosilicic acid will do. I use silica blast which is botanicare. I use it once a week through veg and during stretch. Just make sure you stop using it after stretch is done as no more vegetative growth is happening.

I'm not sure from your wording above, if you were saying the Silica Blast is a monosilicic acid. Because from reading the label it is just another type of potassium silicate. I got excited I as will read below I have been on Monosilicic acid hunt over the last couple months. I'm finding even the brands that are truly MSA, most are so low in the good stuff, it's amazing they can say that it is MSA.
While writing the post below I did come across a form that is 10% (vs under 2%). A quart of it was like $94 delivered, but if the "claimed" dosing is right, that bottle is good for 7,568 gallons of solution. If used as a foliar it is good for 1,892 gallons.

@exnavyinstl Potassium silicate is broken down into plant available potash and monosilicic acid, so getting the same thing just in a more roundabout way. I use recharge the entire time I am using the silica so I have microbes causing that change for me.
I'm currently using a monosilicic acid called Stout MSA. It's relatively cheap ($20 qt - NOT Amazon). However, I think it is only 1.25% MSA.
I was thinking of switching to Power SI (1.75% MSA), which is much more expensive at $57.50 for only 250 ML. But, you only use 0.5 ml per gallon (vs. 5.0 ml/g). So, that means there are 250 gallons in one tiny bottle.
Having said all this, while researching MSA for this post, I happened across a product called Front Row SI, which claims to be 10% MSA.
From the Website: "Front Row Si is a 10% Silicic Acid that uses new polylol stabilizing technology, and contains no PEG (polyethylene glycol) meaning better solubility and less precipitates.
Used as a root or foliar feed, it helps enhance nutrient uptake, nutrient efficacy, and overall crop quality while protecting against drought, temperature flux and other stresses."
If you look at the label, it says to dose at 0.125ml per gallon (up to 0.5ml/g). It's priced at $80 a quart, but 10% MSA that's more than 5 times more than the Power SI. And if the 0.125 dose is truly accurate then the bottle goes 4 times longer than the 0.5ml/g Power SI.
For example: 946ml (qt) / 0.125 = 7568 gallons of solutions. Even at 0.5ml (foliar rate) that's 1892 gallons.
