Unconventional container grow competition

Who’s up for an unusual grow comp

Lots of grow forums have grow contests. Most of those comps are just standard grows but a few are much more interesting and complex. We’ve got a new, different, and hopefully fun grow comp at Percy’s. Let’s try growing a plant in an unconventional, odd, or even impossible looking container. Think about it, a Cannabis plant in full bloom growing out of a ketchup bottle, beer or soda bottle/can, old shoe, amazon box/envelope, old handbag, whatever you can come up with. All media is acceptable and the plant roots must be self contained in whatever you use for a container. You would use your own seed so any strain is fine, photo or auto. We will allow 4 months to grow and we can post progress in this thread and get help if we have problems. You choose which one photo taken during the grow to submit as your entry and submit that pic to special thread for voting. The winner will be chosen by the community via open poll as usual.

To enter this contest simply reply here in this thread that you are entered. Start your grow anytime between now and September 1, 2020. First picture must be posted during the first 7 days of September.

Rules:

1. Contest open to all Percy’s Grow Room members

2. You supply whatever “container” and media you choose, no size limits either big or small.

3. Any type cannabis seed is acceptable, you provide

4. All grow styles are allowed

5. Winners will be decided by voting poll on the forum, the most votes will determine the winners

6. The entire plant rootball must be inside your container, dangling roots are not allowed.

7. Growers must post a current  picture of the plant a minimum of once a week in this thread and that picture must show that no roots are outside of the grow container. Because we are aware that schedules get busy, you will be allowed to miss 1 picture per month and still be considered in good standing for the contest. One per month means exactly that so only one miss per month.

8. Don’t take this comp to seriously, depending on your container this might be difficult and someone is likely to have a rough time. Support others too.

9. Admin may enter but any prize won by admin members will be passed down to the next person in order of voting results. Moderators may enter and will be eligible for prize awards.

10. All entries for voting must be submitted to the voting thread on or before Christmas Day.

Voting will take place in the forum and will be open for 14 days. Each participant will enter their one (one) chosen picture that was taken during this grow by posting that pic in a special thread for voting. Winners will be determined by vote count.

First prize: Your choice of any 10 pack of Seedsman Seeds and the nutrients to grow them (Canna brand based on 50% of manufacturers recommended rate, we all know that full strength is too much)

Second Prize: Your choice of any 3 pack of Seedsman Seeds

This prize pool will be increased if we have lots of entries so tell your buddies.
