Title:
Fukentokin, growing Momosa, PG, and Purple Goo in native soil/sand and compost under the great big sun!
Medium:
Native soil is composed of 60% sand and the rest a mix of clay and soil. I mix in a homemade compost pile into the dirt every spring for a very rich soil in the end
Size of Grow Area and number of plants:
I have 7 plants all together in 3 groups situated around my property. Although it is legal in my country for each household(which I have 2 on the property) to grow a max of 4 plants, I do have to worry about hiding from thieves. Group 1 consists of 3 plants which don’t get direct morning sun. Group 2 is 2 plants getting full sun and Group 3 has 2 plants who get morning direct sun
Lighting:
Sunshine
Pot Sizes:
I live in a desert, so I cut the bottom off a 5 gallon bucket and bury 3/4 of it than plant my plants inside. This helps for keeping the water around the roots and making it easier to water when they are giant.
Nutrients:
I have always relied heavily on my compost mix, but also run a 20/20/20 mix every 2 weeks. I also boost them with 2 cups of milk at the beginning.
Other Equipment:
I installed a 4 ft high by 9 ft wide vertical trellis for the plants to grow through and have support for the buds come windy fall
Plan for the grow:
I’ve been growing now for 9 years, starting as a green thumb grower to now a give a damn grower! Everything has always been trial and error; whatever didn’t work last year, I do different. Every year gaining better practises and a better insight. My plan is to stop growing good bud and move on to professional bud!
Best of luck bud. Will be watching.
Stuck some Diary Bling on you there mate Welcome to the grow room
Man I'm buzzing to keep track this one xD good luck
Rain is the best thing for outdoor plants during veg. It’s like liquid magic!
the momosa plant reminds me of an afghani plant so I’m betting it’s gonna get tall. Right now these plants r getting around 7-8hrs of direct sunlight. I’m gonna bump up my fertilizer to once a week as we are going to be hitting a drought with hot as hell days and I like to fertilize less when the temp goes over 30’C. I have found that in the intense sun the plants seem to suffer a burn from the fertilizer when the nights don’t cool down. I’ll show group 2 progress tomorrow.
Very nice Funken! It must be awesome to grow outdoors.
How do you prevent bugs and all that mate? you got any particular techniques?
progressing well bro, love it
Honestly I have never had a problem with bugs. I do have a lot of praying mantis on my property which helps I’m sure.
I do actually get a problem when it’s harvest time, aphids land on my plant at night and get stuck to it lol. Bastards have to picked and shook off.
I also plant marigolds everywhere which are a natural pest blockers.
Please tell me that's a scrog net for your beasts!? Lol
Omg. Amazing I was half joking
Wow impressive can’t wait to see how these ladies turn out. You’re so lucky to be able to grow outside. ✌️?
Lucky sod? I’d give for a few acres and no neighbours. Them ladies are lovin outside!?
