Her name is blue. She is 4 weeks old, and was topped at 3 weeks. Currently undergoing lst training.
I got two romberry in the back that I will start a diary soon, so will leave blue in veg until I'm happy with the rom twins before going into flower, they are in a bigger pot so hoping another week or two before switching 12/12 (on 18/6 current). I gotta think about space and also light height but thought will raise plant to roms height if needed, cus obv stretch to take into account.....I'm hoping leaving it a bit longer will acclimatise it to the high temps I get. I do add co2 bags because for me personally after using them I do find my plants seem to grow better in my environment, compared to when I didn't use them.
Feeding homemade nettle fert ATM. Basically shitload of nettles in water left for 8 weeks. Add about 3ml/L max.
I use decidous forest topsoil (permission allowed). Sometimes fresh when needed but generally after a year mixed in my home-made compost batches. I find having sticks and bark in there is a natural way of aeration, but also the organisms inside the rotting wood and the funghi created that will be good for the roots.
Will update when switched to flowering.

Sounds like you've got your mix figured out @mcgrower, the homemade organic sea weed sounds really handy but the fresh nettles is something that isn't around too much for me so I'm jealous. So do you add brown sugar to the nettle and water mix? Good luck, look nice. 👍
@woodi2 cheers dude. Lockdown changed my approach at growing. Yeah I add sugar now, I didn't when I first started then did some research. I learnt a lot in my first few grows about concentration, you don't have a guide to tell you how much.
@mcgrower I like the forest topsoil. Interested to see how your plant does with it. Seems healthy in the pics.
@davetg01 thanks dude, I've never had a problem with it, it's always been to due to human error that I managed to mess up some of my grows. It's still a learning process, this grow I'm hoping to add homemade cal-mag. I think may be one of the reasons. My plants always look healthy until I fk it up lol.

@davetg01 hey dude, basically an experiment of Epsom salt and diluted milk. Summit I only just read, been trying to find different ways of getting nutes without spending too much or nothing at all. So I'll only it add it now and again or if the plants are showing deficiency. After I've applied the milk I'll probably just water plain next few ones just so the milk doesn't sit in the medium and smell and rot.

On week.....? fk lol. Going very well. Happy!!!. Lots of lst on this girl. And she is doing very well with it. I have increased nutrients to half a ml extra, and seeing no stress. I'm just waiting for the romberrys to catch up a little bit more, as they are 2 weeks behind. There in bigger pots so waitin for 4th internode before I top, does anyone top at the 3rd?would like to know if anyone has any suggestions or comments as we go through the diary or ?s about the grow. For new people seeing this it is a budget grow. But right now I'm thinking of changing my phlizon 1200 to a migro aray 2. Think it's perfect for my size tent but also half the price of the light I was thinking of getting. And half the price is really singing to me, but would like to know if saving a bit more and going for the next size up (aray 3) would benefit me or be too big for my tent? @mcgrower hey there -- good questions.
Here are my thoughts, but this is something that is sort-of rooted in ones own personal philosophy. For my first grow I went with a cheap Chinese light on Amazon that was supposedly sized for my an area a little smaller than my closet (2'x2' light in a 2 1/2' x 2 1/2 space). It was fine for veg, but was under-powered for how much light was needed in flower, so harvest suffered. Later, after doing a lot of research on energy efficiency (including info from Shane) I purchased a very efficient light that that was overpowered for my grow space. I did this for a few reasons, including the ability to dim the light down to the necessary level, which saves on the life of the light and costs less to run, AND then I have the option to upgrade my grow space later and not have to get a bigger light. I now have the first, smaller light in reserve for a back-up or to use on keeping a mother in veg. This also relies on the principle that you can fly a wing made of a barn door if you have enough horsepower. I would always rather have some in reserve than not have enough. The exception was getting that cheap $50 light (as opposed to $100's and $100's) just to see if home-grow was going to work for me.

I think iv been topping most of my last grows at the 3rd node, infact I did one lastnight and im almost certain it was at the 3rd as well but it's not easy to remember when it was so long ago 🤣 lol When I bought my aray 4 I was growing in the shower, I didn't have any tents back then, I emailed Shane and told him the size of the shower and he recommended the aray 4, it fitted perfect with about half an inch to spare at each end.lol
One thing to think about, do you think you'll want to buy a bigger tent anytime soon? I didn't plan on using a tent when I started, but then I bought a 75cm x 75cm by 160cm tent and a small 100w light and then I ended up buying another small tent and a big tent 😆 My big tent is 120cm x 60cm x 150cm and my Aray 4 fits it perfect and for me personally I wouldn't want anything smaller than that now after using it this long. I use the shower for drying weed in now.
So first thing I would do is make sure your happy with the size of your tent just incase later on sometime you want a bigger one... and find your also looking for a bigger light to fit the tent. But if your happy with all that then I would ask Shane and see what he thinks would be best for your needs. He's very helpfull with things like that 🙂

Added 1tsp Epsom salt + 1/4 cup no fat milk to 1l water. This is my experiment cal mag. I didn't add the whole L but half to all three plants. I'm gonna see if it helps. Then increase over next few days.

How many do you think you can handle? lol There's no limit on the amount of diaries you have going, iv had 3 or 4 going at the same time, it can be a bit of a pain having so many at times if your too stoned and not in the mood for filling them in 😆 but you can have as many as you want 🙂

@mcgrower No it's just the one Active diary bling that you get, it doesn't matter which diary you link in your account either as long as you have one of them linked is all that matters. You get the blue diary bling for that. Then the next diary bling comes when you complete diaries 🙂

I think we're around the 5-6 week of veg. She's telling me she's ready for the switch, but I just wanted to give the rom twins a few more days. Lst training has gone to plan soo far. I hope I've calculated the stretch properly, hoping we'll be at the sane canopy level as the twins. Started taking the lower bud sites off that I know just ain't gonna get the light. Increased my nutes by 2.5ml, she's showing no sign of stress but I don't want to increase nutes too much incase its too much, I don't need her stressed just before flower. I think that's it for now.
Yes yes!!!! Switched to 12/12, my favourite time of grow phase, the anticipation the constant watching over the weeks of growth and swell. And it seems to take a long time, then near harvest you look back at how long it took and you realise all those weeks rolled into 1. Before I know it I'll be there at week 9,10 or 11 and posting hopefully an abundant harvest.
Deciding whether to add another fan to help with air circu as I suffered bud rot last time from lack of air flow that was sog mainline but these budsites on the old girl are gonna be close together, like a song. I will check as I find the tighter and denser the bud are the more chance of rot happening, from personal opinion. Pictures of start of flower hopefully to come soon.
@toploader I have no idea dude. Sorry. First time on strain. But for own ref will measure now at start of flower and measure at end if I remember. But I'm hoping It levels out with my romberry that are in bigger pots that have been started earlier in flower.
Nov 16th day 3 of preflower.
All is going well for now. One or two issues that I'm dealing with, measuring my pH first. But nice growth on the girl. Starting her stretch. So anticipating for that. Running at 28°c at the minute instead of 30°c so happy with that. I need to cool the wardrobe that the tent is in. I think that would help the inside tent temp. Get a better light, there doing allright but I think it would improve if I had a wider area like the aray2 for my space, I find I'm bunching my plants to be right under the light. Not good in flower when I want good air flow between the buds. Not very good at this writing malark. Enjoy the pics instead I hope..

Loving this girl, getting a bit too big, but won't be complaining at the end. Didn't have time tonight but hopefully tomorrow do a final lst just to bring the canopy more level. Still adding black molasses and seaweed in fish tank water, but also adding Epsom salts and twice added no fat milk. Seeing no stress or deficiency. She's getting big so are the romberry twins and after final lst on all, will need to defoliate a little bit, but decide whether it's worth another fan, I don't want mold, this is going really good so far, but I always manage something wrong. My main issue now is being able to have the time to tend to them as this is a stealth grow. Sometimes literally 5 mins to water, look, hopefully move or prune or change, before I gotta quietly zip the tent, and then close the cupboard door. Hating the purple light at the minute, more obvious. But she's a good light and proving her worth. Awesome sorry for the blabblab. Enjoy!

My beautiful lady is starting to grow her budsites. Stretching has stopped pretty much, she's now filling out. Very happy with the way it's going. Not really too much to report.

lost my phone so sorry but no photos, and at a time when would be good, she is awesome, starting to swell, getting a lovely fruity smell to her, not smelling mainly blueberries just a lovely fruity smell. taking lots of water and nutes. defo need more space, but showing no health issues. hopefully gonna see alot more trich development in the next few weeks. i know this isnt a very strong strain, but looking foward to seeing what she can do. my romberrys have the same fruity smell but mixed with a floral tone. will try and get photos uploaded when i can.

humidity running a bit high now at the moment around 70%, temps is around 25-27oc. have added some cheap dehumidifier crystals in a box so hopefully see how that goes before i take drastic action. still lots of lush green growth and the buds are filling out nicely, now to the point i went in yesterday and two colas were bending over, supported them up.
alot more trich production now ive noticed, a little brush and a very nice citrus fruit coming off her. now started watering with nutes every 2 days, just giving seaweed and molasses from now.
still no photos, seems a bit pointless updating when you got nothing to look at. merry christmas all!!
I'll see your 70% and raise you 10 im sitting at 80% humidity right now 🤣 It should come down a bit soon tho iv just put the plants to bed. Iv got a dehumidifier in the same room as the tent but it's not in the tent. It's only at half power yet too.
my humiditys been in the high 60's with the lights on a lot this past week or two but I dont have buds formed just yet so im not too worried. Iv seen me putting some cardboard in the tent to try and absorb some moisture too when it's been really high but im not sure if it helped all that much of not.
It's still a good idea to update your diary even if you dont have pics just for keeping track of when you did things incase you ever need to look back and check something, we can always pretend we're looking at big buds.lol Good luck and hopefully the RH settles down for you soon. @stootie merry christmas dude. would it be better to try and get the humidity out of the cuboard its in, instead of inside the tent? it makes sense in my head but i dunno. also how many weeks into flower would you start to get worried about high hum? cheers dude.
@mcgrower Im not sure which way would be best mate, I dont use extraction of filters or anything on my tents. Iv got 3 tents cramed into a 7ft by 5ft room and my dehumidifier sits at the end between them, I use my dehumidifier to control the temp in the room too, so im kinda controlling my temp and RH in the tent and outside the tent. I open and close tent doors to alter temp and RH too, it's very technical stuff man 🤣
I dont like having too high a humidity anytime when there's buds formed really but the main thing is to keep the air moving, it's best if the humidity doesn't get too high but sometimes theres not much you can do about it but if you have plenty fans keeping the air moving you should be ok 🙂
