Been a while as last harvest has lasted well and also energy prices not great. I plan to LST the plants like last grow, results were definitely more manageable in the long run. I’ll most likely use a couple of nets as have needed to every time so far.
So starting off I’m aiming to feed less on the nutrients than before and increase marginally as required. I’m not going to add Calmag to start apart from buffering the coco, had a look into my tap water and looks like it’ll probably be plenty. I can always add if signs of deficiency occur.
Lights will be on 18/6 and may drop to 12/12 on flower to save energy but will see.
Take root 0.25ml per litre
Multi Total 0.25ml per litre
Grow A&B 0.25ml per litre
PH 5.8
So around a week in. Orange bud on the left and LSD on the right. Today was the first day they have really finished off their water and pic taken before their first proper feed.

@stootie thanks mate. Feels good getting a grow going again I’ve missed it. They look a bit more perky this morning after first feed yesterday.
A week later and the girls had reached to the bottom of their starting pots. Transferred to 16 litre final fabric pots with amended coco/perlite.
Fed with 0.5ml per litre of Multi total, take root, grow A&B and Calmag pH @5.8, RH 55 and temp 20oc.
Introduced SF1000 No2
In just three days these girls showing what they’re made of. Need to start LST so will look to sort by Saturday just so busy right now. Really pleased so far and feed low as above although will increase a little once LST.

Both filling out nicely and remain nice and squat. Not bothered with LST just as yet and might not.

So by my reckoning coming into week 3. Still been on the above tiny amount of nutes and they seem happy enough. Not much vertical growth as yet and hoping that’s been on account of having the lights at correct height.
As of tomorrow I will increase the nutes as don’t want to run into issues.

ph@5.8, temp 22oc and RH 60
Girls really starting to fill their pots. Can’t believe they have grown so much on so little nutes. They look healthy just hoping I’m not stunting growth. Nutes as above apart from take root.
will reintroduce the multi total at low level and increase A&B to 1.5ml per ml this week.

Looking very nice in there @spambot. I really want to get my hands on some of those orange buds, they sound very tasty. Im running their Wedding cake atm and the genetics look good so far. Cant really go wrong with Barneys though they kill it with their genetics. Will be watching this one keenly.
@bubblehok nice one mate thanks. I thought if they look deficient I’ll increase but they just seem to thrive regardless. I’ll take a look at that grow wedding cake is delicious and may be on the cards soon.
Upped the nutes from today now at A&B 2.5ml per litre.
Will look at introducing a net soon. They need a trim but will wait until net in place.
@spambot, those are some tasty sounding strains. My orange didn't make it very long. Yours looks really good, whichever one it is. lol They both look great. I haven't tried the LSD strain, not the one you grow anyway.
I have to ask if you check the EC of your feed? I see you give the PH but don't offer any EC info. They look fine, and your doing great, I was just curious is all. If this is the case it's working great, kudos!! 👍 Just wondering how you grow your Beautiful plants! Have a good one man.
@woodi2 thanks bud. Not tried either of these before so hoping for good things. Well spotted on the EC. So for the first two grows I was feeding to run off and checking EC (I do have a meter), the last grow I didn’t do either. I just keep the coco mostly moist and allow it to dry a little from time to time. I know this is not the recommended practice but had my biggest and tastiest yield last run using this technique.
Bare in mind also that I am feeding well under recommended nutes schedule so by rights should not be getting anywhere near the saturation point.
I try and keep a close eye on things and if I suspect any issues I would not hesitate to do a check. Sorry for long winded reply 😅
@spambot, if you can grow by feel that's cool, after all it is your grow. lol But congrats on that. The PH is the main thing. If you keep that in check and stay low on the feed, you can fly under the radar. My EC runs low consistently, and it does ok. Being well fed doesn't mean being over fed. And they will tell you when they've had enough, that's for sure. Air, food and light, that's it. kis LOL best of luck
@woodi2 it’s the lowest I’ve tried so far. I will up when I swap to bloom nutes but not by much to start.
PH is checked on every feed religiously. Lol yes it’s like a connection thing largely fuelled by the previous harvest 😉
Been so busy not had time to update. Bad bot!!!
At the weekend defoliation carried out to would be popcorn stems and stuffs not getting light. LST on both main stems just to get more of an even canopy. Silly bollocks here was a bit rough with OB the stem didn’t crack but was definitely super crop iirc. Tbh they both don’t seem to give a toss and continue to impress me.
Powered up m third Sf1000 and dropped humidifier to 55.
Temp is sitting between 19-22 depending on time of day.
Nutes per litre:
Bloom A&B 2.5ml
multitotal 0.5ml
Girls are starting to stack and seem happy enough. Turned the heater down today as was 27c earlier. Not introduced the net at the mo but may over the weekend.
Nutes per litre now are 3ml of Bloom A&B, 0.5ml of explode and 0.25ml of Calmag occasionally. PH @ 5.8 temp 22-23c. Can wait to have new flavours.
They're coming along nicely mate, they'll be getting nice and smelly now are they. Nice work man 🙂
@stootie thanks mate. They are starting to smell lush. Managed better control than previous runs so far and happy with that. Not as tall as last runs but they seem more chunky. Hoping that’s due to better light placement but can’t say for sure.
So I reckon around week 4 in flower here. Still defoliate the odd leaf blocking flow/light but not much really.
Today increased the A&B to 4ml per litre so still fairly low.
They are starting to get through feeds quicker and the 10 litre run off for the dehumidifier needs keeping an eye on.
But they seem fairly happy. Lights fairly close but again no signs of problems with that. If need be I have plenty of head room.
