I'm having issues with 2 of my 3 autos, the one is gelato and the other is glue gelato (the center and the right). This is the second time I've fed them. The first top dress was gaia green 4-4-4 and at the first sign of pistals (week 4) I top dressed with 50/50 4-4-4 and 2 removed link After the second feeding they started to droop and the top leaves started to curl. They are in 3 gal pots and I water every 3-4 days (when pots are light) about 3-4 solo cups. They have been super healthy up to this point, any help would be greatly appericiated
@j-nug Yes mate a foliar spray, just raise your light all the way to the top of the tent. You have some flowers forming so avoid them if you can. But thats not major at this stage.
Use a mister spray, and cover the top and bottom of the leaves.
Leave your fans on, so they plants dry faster after being sprayed and when the water is dry lower the lights again They will look much happier in a day or so.
They look a little under watered, maybe every 3 to 4 days isnt enough...I have same size pots as you although plastic and not those dodgy bags, lol...I feed every 2 days, sometimes sooner with the same temps you have
@zn next round I'll try plastic pots rather than those dodgy bags lol I'm letting my girls sit for one more day then I'm going to hit them with a compost tea tomorrow. I notice a couple yellow leaves around the bottom, seems weird because I just top dressed last week
@zn Ya, I've noticed that as well. I've been trying the manage everything with LST and tucking leaves but they are short bushy girls. Lately I've been defoliating little bits at a time but I've heard that you don't want to take too much off...
@j-nug I dont take anything off...leaves are a vital part of the growth of the plant, even yellow ones, lol...they will curl up & fall off when the plant no longer needs them...
Only time to do defol really is at end of stretch just before flowering...plant is no longer focussing on leaf production
White Widow on the left is starting to stretch. I realized my PH Pen needed to be calibrated....oops... I'm pretty sure I've been watering with a low PH for the last couple weeks. Looking back at my pictures I can tell exactly when it happened...
I just watered with a compost tea, it's natural PH measured 6.2 (hopefully, damn PH Pen) I'm hoping the girls get a little perkier in the next few days lol
White Widow and Glue Gelato have recovered. The Gelato in the back corner still hasn't perked up yet but that's not a surprise, it's been finicky from seedling.
CBD White Widow(left) was a slow grower but super hearty, it was the last plant to be effected by the PH.
Glue Gelato(centre) has had very good growth and will have the most tops at harvest.
Thanks for everyone's help, I was starting to freak out a bit inside lol
I have stopped adjusting the PH in my water, just dechlorinating, and they all seem a lot happier. Of course the Gelato on the right is the last one to come around, she's so sensitive lol
I'm planning to do my last top dressing of 2-8-4 and worm castings in 1 week (week 7) hopefully the Gelato is hungry by then because you can see in the picture it has a few burnt tips beginning on its leaves.
All the plants have started to stretch, they aren't going to be top shelf XXL Autos but I think they are looking decent.
looks like you’re doing a good job 👍 plants looking healthy .. the gelato maybe try a microbe tea or similar ... something with humic acid in .. a compost mulch would do (that’s presuming you’re in soil!)
