Grow medium : Soil

Strain: Critical Kush (barneys) Indica. Short flowering, 8weeks. Photo.

PH of your nutrient solution : 6.8-7.0

PH of the run off, or Reservoir: Not sure, nutes I use say you dont have to water to run off so I dont usualy have enough run off to test.

EC/ PPM of Nutrient Solution before Feeding: Wasn't monitoring but ppm cut nutes in half and added cal-mag, this was 600ppm (tap water 350ppm)

EC/ PPM of the run off, or Reservoir: Not checked as above re ph run off.

Nutrients Brand, and how many ML per litre of which foods : Biobizz grow and bloom. Was following their instructions, week 4-5 of flowering - 1ml grow, 3ml bloom per litre.

Grow room temps lights on/ lights off ( On/ Off): 22-24c / 18-20c

Grow room humidity lights on/ lights off (On/ Off) 50-55% / same

Lighting type and wattage (hps, led, cfl): 400w HPS

Extraction (Size of Extractor, and where you draw and exhaust air from): 4" RVK fan with carbon filter inside top of 1mx1mx2m tent.

So this started as a small closet grow (well chest of drawers actually). Veg was under 2x 125w cfl. Looked great the whole way through.

Then into bigger chest of drawers (about 1m wide x 1m tall by 0.5m deep) to flower under 2x 125w flowering (red) cfl's. Onto flowering nutes at suggested levels, increasing as each week went past It looked great through 3 weeks of this, started flowering profusely and quickly.

Then It started to outgrow that and I thought sod it and bought a tent, 400w sodium and fans etc. Tent is great. Temps didn't get on top or anything.

After a week or two in here (light about 2ft away) It started showing these signs of brown spots on leaves. No burnt tips at the time or drooping leaves or anything. This has basically just steadily got worse as time goes on.

When I noticed it getting worse I flushed (30L through the 10L airpot) and left until it was dry enough for next water then i gave it half strength bloom (3ml in 2L) and dose of cal-mag (1.6ml in 2L).

Carried on giving it half strength bloom for next couple of feeds and after a week gave it a dose of epsom salts too (2/3 tsp in 2L).

Now i'm here. Please check pics. At first i thought it looked most like a calcium deficiency with the brown spots but the cal-mag didnt stop it. Also it seems to have slowed right down and is looking pretty sickly.

I'm thinking i might lose it!  Years ago when I grew they just got tomorite once or twice a week and they were happy as Larry!

Many thanks for any help.

@mr-c the pictures didn’t upload correctly, can you try again. If you are still having problems then here is a link to help you troubleshoot the problem. It’s very difficult to diagnose anything accurately without pictures.

Also, Ive just been looking at your article on fungus gnats. I do see a few small black flies hanging around. I kill any that I see.  Maybe it's this? I have been watering every second day by which time usually the top 1" of the soil is dry.

Bit of a salt build up i think mate, excess of Potassium or calcium.

Just lighten off on the feed a lite, back the EC off by a couple of points and she will pic up.

Over all she is looking ok mate, nothing to majorly wrong with her, she will recover if you ease off the feed a bit Smile

Hi, thanks. I did a proper flush a week ago and they have been on half nutes since then (except for the calmag/epsom salts) but it still appears worse every day. Also seem to have ground to a halt. I will continue on half nutes for now. Should I stop with the calmag/epsom salts? I think yield will be well down as its barely changed in over a week and supposedly only has 3 weeks left!

Thanks again.
