Thanks a ton Monkey! Just did the second spray. Yes to the underside.
Next spray 3 days from now I also plant to sanitise the tent. I would not know how or where to begin ? I have isopropyl alcohol and plain bleach, can I make a isopropyl solution and spray the tent down ? What dilution ?

Thanks again, as always!

Hey folks! Hope all swell!

Early days, after monkey help me get the technique right, the plant was real perky, Leaves pointing to the sun, raring to go etc etc...

Lately, as the plants grown multiples in size, the new growth has started to look a look not quite as gung ho.. with some leaves curling down.

Please advise.

1

Feed is @ an EC of 1.4
Room temps are now high 20's, RH swings between 50-70% through the day

Thank you!

Is your plant getting ready to flower? Around the time the plant changes from Veg to Flower the leaves at the growth tips can go a little wonky for a bit. Eventually they go back to normal after the stretch is done. It could also be a bit too much nitrogen causing clawing. I do see a few burnt leaf tips but not very many. Best I can offer seeing that picture. Someone else might have a better eye than me, hopefully they will post too.

Thanks a ton monkey! I do believe the plants are getting ready to flower! They have been growing pre flowers for a couple of weeks or more now. Sounds bout right ?

Where do you see leaf burn please monkey ?? Cause I cant find it.

edit : Ah ok, the rear leaves. That happened when I was feed an EC of 1.6 if i am reading the plant correct. I since lowered feed to 1.4, and it seems good now. Should I take it to 1.2 ?

Tip burn was one in front and two somewhat out of focus in the background. It doesn’t look bad so let it be for now. Per flowering stretch can explain wonky growth tips so just stay the course and keep an eye on things. Relax and enjoy the process brother, buds are coming soon.

Heya folks! Hope you all doing well! My apologies for being so spotty here. I have had a couple of busy weeks, first in a long time, and its 5am and im done for the next few days hopefully.

Monkey, the plant you helped me get going has grown into a beast and taken the whole tent. Plenty of preflowers but not yet flowering, even though seeds of an autoflower, I have switched to 1212 just so. She is almost into the lights, and i had to add a trellis net quite late, a first with the net for me.

She has had a hard couple of weeks, i made the rookie mistake of filling the grow bag half full and now don't know if I can top it up, but watering is a pain, im having to (which i have not) water multiple times daily, often finding the plant wilted.

None the less, I seem to have had just gotten the nutrient issues under control, a combination of adding CalMag and making ure im flushing well.

4 days ago I stopped using the CalMag, and kept the base nutes at and EC of roughly 1.2. But I now seemed to have swung to an excess of nitrogen ? My main reason for stopping the CalMag were. 1. I assumed after weeks of watering, the coco would by now be saturated, and 2. I read that lower nitrogen levels aid in flowering.

The top growth is folded in and curling down, or is it heat and light and poor watering stress ?

RH between 30-60% and temps get to mid 30's c. Plenty of air.

thanks as always folks. I promise to try and be more participating. Feels poor form to just pop in for help. Cool

Hey folks! Quick update. Been able to keep an eye out on the plant for the past few days, and its all started looking good. Just wish the damn thing would stop growing now! Also, I will tomorrow hopefully top the grow bag up with more buffered coco. Should be ok ?

Be safe ppl.

Hi again folks. So there is thing that's been happening for a while now, midway through the lights on cycle the plant gets all droopy.

The pics in the previous post were from a couple of hours after lights on.

The pics attached below are from the same light on cycle bout 7-8 hrs later. Its all droopy and many of the leaves are curled inwards and downwards. I did water after earlier today. With en EC of 1.1 (low EC as im trying to bring down the EC of the medium, which is now down to 1.6 from 2.1 a few days ago, as per the measurement of the runoff)

RH is bout 63% and temps @ 31.5c

Thank you for all advise.

Looks like they are stretch becuase they dont have enough breeze blowing at them, the stems looks weak, you have a decent fan in there?

Hmmm... I do actually. Its at the bottom and blowin a bit around, ive got movement across the plant. But the air does feel heavy when I open the tent up. Maybe the filter is choked. For now I have left it half open and the RH has fallen to 50%. The stems are a bit leggy.

Any chance this could be root related, I keep stressing over the fact the the grow bag is only half full and am unsure bout topping it so late.

You can fill the rest of the bag and the plants will adjust/appreciate it. No use stressing over things that can be fixed 😉
