Not sure why my plant has this "rash" or discoloration.
I'm growing indoors, however, when it's sunny, I do take it out and leave it on a shaded balcony where there is indirect light for about 8 hours. In total, the plants do get about 16-18 hours a day. This plant in particular does have an air pipe with an air stone that's on for about 4-6 hours of the day.

@budlee could definitely just be genetic variegation. I have seen this with quite a few plants and all of them grew out of it within 3-4 set of leaves. Check your parameters just to make sure, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it as long as plant continues to grow well. 
A few things would cause issues he TBF mate. You should choose indoors or outdoors, having both can be a problem with temperature fluctuations.
ALso, reseviour temps, the water may get too cold, you should try to keep it between 15 and 18 c for best results
The PPM/ EC is important when growing in full hydro too, monitoring this will help you know if the plant is over eating or not eating enough.
Keep the plant indoors under the LEDm fro 18 hours a day, this will also help keep bugs out of the grow room.
What nutirents are you giving it and how much per litre too? The pH of hydro needs to be 5.8-6.2 aswell. Otherwise the plant wont eat right and you will have issues
I'm currently feeding them EHG micro (Easy Hydro Grow). Feeding as per their advise, which is 2.5ml (Grow, Micro & Bloom) per 10 litres the first 2 weeks. 7ml the 3rd week (currently here).
They're due for a flush tomorrow. I'll check PH, PPM/EC first thing in the morning before flushing and after the new solution goes in. I need to start keeping track a little more closely I think.

Ok, so I thought I'd share my readings from this morning.
Readings of the old solution:
PH: 6.68, PPM: 272, ECC: 544
Readings of the new solution after adding nutrients:
PH: 6.00, PPM: 81, ECC: 172
I'm not sure if I'm reading the ECC values correctly, therefore, I attached a picture of it.
This is 24 hours after flushing and running a full 18 hr light cycle. Looks about the same imo.. Will keep an eye out and check back in 24 hours.
