Hey All, Need a little help from, Percy's Professionals. I got a problem with just one plant, but it's locked in with two others in a RDWC hydro system. Now I've noticed that not too many hydro grows in Percy's Play House but that's OK plant problem don't discriminate on different grow mediums, right?
So three plants all live in the same nutrient solution, and only one has an issues. They are all the same strain from DP, Glueberry Auto's. Day 26 of flower. So this problem started several weeks ago, and I've been researching it trying to figure out what's up.
They are very sensitive to the nutrients. I'm using in this order: silica 1.5ml, cal/mag 2.5ml, GH trio, Rapidstart, and Hydroguard. After coming back from a root problem at the very beginning of flower, I started to slowly introduce slightly more PK, in the form of Koolbloom at 1ml per gal.
All hell started to slowly break out. Stopped everything and flushed with RO, redid low level nutrients, problem continued, a week later same problem, flushed with Florakleen, low level nutrients, EC 1.0 then 1.1 then 1.2 etc. They stop at 1.3. It appears to me to be Potassium excess. One reason is the PH is slowly dropping, Never rising. They are eating, EC does go down .04-.05 in 10 hrs or so.
And they are drinking 2.5 gal/10L a day. So I've reduced them to bare bones minimum nutrients and put them on the Lucas formula, of just Micro and Bloom. Still got silica, rapidstart, and Hydroguard. Lucas is suppose to have enough cal/mag in it by it's self and I'm not showing an Cal/mag problems.
But she won't snap out of it, she's is getting better but man it is slow. So PH always falling, elongated new growth, lime green new growth that seems to get better with maturity, but still just fucked up looking, but still growing and stretching. Take a look and let me know what you think. Sorry so long.
Admin Edit ( try adding some paragraphs in long posts to make them easier to read mate
Are they looking for zinc man? I have a fuck of a time trying to read these things as symptoms for many are the same
Constancy is important mate, they plants will find balance and these things can happen when you adjust feed. I would say mix up a light feed with a bit of PK and watch what they do for a few days. Monitor the EC and pH and adjust if you need to. Old Hippe might be right with the zinc def, make sure the ph stays in range. There is probably plenty of zinc but the ph is preventing the plant from getting it
I'm saying Potassium also because the PH keeps sliding down slowly, it never raises even with increased nutz. Plants react to the high nutz but the PH keeps sliding down. They're eating and drinking but the PH is down so the root zone is acidic. IMO
