Any help would be appreciated,I am in DWC using Canna Aqua nutrients, temp during light on is 76f with 60% RH under CFL in a 2x4x9 tent. Ph is 5.8 to 6.4 EC is 1.6 water temp 69f after I went from 18/6 to 12/12 my leafs are curling up and a few rust spots. Is this stress or cal mag issue?

Seeing leaves curl up like that is called canoeing mate, it is usually a sign of heat stress, but at 74f, that's not really too hot, and the cfl wont give off a lot of heat either.

Ec seems fine for DWC too, maybe a touch too high but not much, that should not be the problem either hmmmmm.......

Cal Mag is possibly an issue, at this stage, as the plant first head into flower, i like to spray them with some epsom salts, this helps combat the extra cal mag it needs during the changeover i have found.

The res temps could be just a little cooler, 18c, but 20 should be fine too.

So, epsom salts for the foliar feed. That would be my suggestion. But TBF mate, the plants do look fine.

How is your airstone looking? still getting plenty of air to the roots right? not blocked or trapped in the root ball?

I will check my air stones the roots are massive and could be blocking the stone.

Thanks!

Also make sure the CFL is clean, they do get very hot when dusty and mine is, lol...I have the same issues with 2 clones under a 300w CFL

In which case , its quite likely heat stroke, lol...how far away is your CMH (not CFL ;)) from the canopy and where are you measuring temps from ??

I have a dual 630w CMH and its 20" above the canopy with an oscillating fan blowing between, still I get a few leaves canoe but they get used to it usually

I’m 24” above canopy and have 2 sensors at canopy height with two vivosun 20watt 6” oscillating fans blowing across the canopy.
