The Bigger plants were germinated from discount cheapo £2.49 Auto White Widow seeds I bought online, they're in 8ltr pots of Biobizz Allmix. They're both around 40 days in. They started off in some other shit compost but got replanted when they only had a few leaves. I don't think I've over watered, it's been dry between. Taking 1ltr every other day now. They've had a little Grow added but not much, half strength at most and not every water. They are looking yellowy in places, with brown spots. One on the left very droopy at times.

Always used rain water. Could this be an issue?

The bottom left is a Nirvana Auto White Widow, 22 days old, but it is a 7 leaf freak with all sorts of mutations, should I persist?

The bottom right is a Seedsman Amnesia, 15 days, actually seems OK

I haven't got any test equipment for PH or EC..(yet?)

@teleman hi bro

the pale autos in flower need bio bizz bloom nutrient alongside the bio grow and ideally top max also to get them through flowering phase .. a little cal mag may also be needed as ZN mentioned in chat - there's none in rainwater

follow instructions on the back of the labels at half max recommended rate

the young uns looks healthy so yes persist!

good luck bro

Maybe a calmag issue on this one as rainwater contains little to none and bottom left mutant will be fine 😉

I got some calmag and top max stuff.

How long you reckon it will take to show improvement?

@teleman The affected leaves may not recover but as long as new growth looks good, a few days will tell

Any ideas as to why these plants resemble a New England Autumn?

I now have the full compliment of the biobizz range, plus some biosys I've used once so far. They've had the dosage for about the mid flower stage.

I'm wondering about the water from the butt. It comes off of the house roof.

I'm going to switch to tap water, according to the tinternet it's moderately hard round here. Ordered some neutraliser stuff

@teleman ya man ph is massive. If the ph is off in the medium the plant can't eat. I think a distilled water flush and refeed with a new solution that you know the ph off will fix her up. Let's see what the ph is when the meter comes in

your meter will put things straight for ya @Teleman, try looking at the visual charts for possible causes. I don't know shit about soil but the plant looks like it low on a lot of things. But the meter will now tell you what your actually putting in, and that's another learning curve, so be patience and you'll get through it. Ask the question and you'll get the plants.  😉            peace

Water butt pH 6.3

Straight from tap 6.5

Tap stood 24 hour 7.0

Run off when watered very slowly 5.7

Waddayathink?

Ph looks fine...between 6 & 7 is ideal for canna so not that...I would do a flush (3x pot size) with neutral PH'd water and try and give her a reset, then resume feeding at half strength, see how she responds to that

Little update. The two older plants are a struggle. I flushed one, carried on as was with the other and they both still look shite. They had Epsom salts, bat shit and not much change.  I think it's just a case of limping them over the line now. I may get a bit off them.

The younger two are fairing better but have worrying signs. Especially the amnesia. The tips don't look good and I've got yellowing on lower leaves. See pics.

Light burn? I'm only on 60% of 300w. Nute burn? On plain water last feed... deficiency? Fuck knows.  I'm losing heart here man

Update. I no longer don't sleep if I see a yellow leaf...

Well both the original white widows are on the home stretch. Yellow, brown and looking tired but the buds seem solid and smell good. Going on 80 days. They're nearest the camera.

The younger two, 49 days the larger, 56 days the smaller, are muddling through.

You don't half learn a lot on the first grow. I've over watered, over fed, over compensated and generally made all the mistakes predicted.

Already prepping No. 2. Bring it on!

@teleman they look alright mate, first few grows I did the same things, find a leaf with a few spots and freak out or if the thing decided it wasn't as perky as yesterday I was concerned lol. You learn to read them, but in the cases where your looking at it and thinking wtf I gave you everything you wanted! its good to have this forum with the guys that have been through it and its always something simple lol
