Hi there!

I'm growing my first ever plant, trainwreck namely. It is in week 4/5 of flower and it has had yellow leaves for a few weeks on the bottom. This was due to a nutrient burn, or so I thought: A few days ago other (higher up) leaves started yellowing but showing no signs of burn further. I've stopped adding any fertilizer since the yellowing and burning on the bottom showed up. Why are other leaves suddenly yellowing too?

Could be overwatering mate causing lockout of nutrients, that will yellow the leaves as the water is stopping the roots breathing.

Burn usually shows on the leaf tips I think.

As Zombie says give em a feed? if it's really wet let it dry for a bit first

I second both of those. What nutrients are you using and how often do you feed it? Definitely let it dry and see if your soil is also to tight. Then feed it with bloom fertilizer.

I’m using Plagron Terra Grow Basic Nutrient. I water it daily but the past few days have been very rainy so I skipped yesterdays watering. If I were to feed it tho, I’d add 4mL to a liter of water daily (again, depending on if it’s raining or not) I dunno if I’m doing the right thing tbh.

Yer i would agree that she needs a bit of food. Usually, when the plant gets hungry for N/P or K, the deficiency starts at the bottom of the plant and makes its way up the plant.

Lets just make sure, if you can tell us what food you're using and how much we can direct you towards what to fed next mate Smile All in all, the plant doesn't look too bad at all mate, good work. Just a little deficiency that's easily fixable

HMmmm, in this case, id be more inclined to think it was over watered rather than under fed. Plenty of food going into it, but too much water if you're feeding everyday mate. You need the spoil to dry out a bit between waterings.

Probably the amount of rain its had has caused the problem. The big brown blotches on the bottom leaves also make me think over watering could be the problem.

She also is a big plant, and maybe could do with a bigger pot, not not like, as she is already flowering but that could also be adding to the problem.

I would drop feeding down to once every other day, and try to prevent rain getting into the pot, so you can control when she gets the water and feed Smile Hope this helps mate

Yea I haven't fed it for 3/4 weeks because at that time the "burn"/brown edges on the bottom leaves started showing up. So maybe it's a combination of both?

And yea, she definitely needs a bigger pot, roots are beginning to come out at the top... I don't have any bigger pots thoough and I've never transferred such a big plant to another pot. Doing that will probably do more harm than good.

For sure, too late to transplant now mate.

Well if she hasn't had food for that long, then it'll be food too Smile
Id still continue to reduce the waterings. Most soil growers will water around every three days. Id say with a plant that big, in a pot that size, every other day will be enough.

Feed her, then just water her two days after, then just water again two days after that, then feed.

so, water every 2 days, and one in every three of those watering add nuits. Does that make sense?
