@mossbeardmitch

I just started them on a flood and drain system but I am wondering if the plants have the root structure yet to support this ? plants are 19 days old in 15 ltr pots.

Tips curling down is usually a sign of overfed Nitrogen...its the beggining of clawing but yeah some water would help 😉

Id say the look more over water, eaves look plump and heavy, like they are filled with water.

What do you mean by flood and drain, from those pics, it looks like the plants are in coco?

Tell me more about the flood and drain system, are you flooding the coco? I dont know whats going on lol

hi Macky

it's a auto watering system, simply a reservoir that feeds each pot, the roots pull the water up as needed.

"Once connected to the water supply the AQUAvalve will control the flow of water to the plants, by simple gravity pressure from a tank or water butt, no pumps, mains water pressure, electricity or timers are required. Once connected to a tank the AQUAvalve will open and allow water to fill the tray to a preset level of 20mm. The AQUAvalve will not refill the tray until all the water has been used."

I haven't been over watering, just every two days by hand and about 2 litres per watering, have waited until soil felt dry to the touch. they were put onto the auto pot system two days ago. I have given them a good watering b y hand today as there all felt dry so will see what happens.

I’m using a bat mix which has perlite in it, also using the hydrotop nutes.
Trying to get temps stable in an unheated barn has been a real pain!
