- Hi there I have plants in soil they have been in flower for 2 weeks the top leaves are turning yellow and some burning around the edges I feed once every 3-4 waterings
I put in ph 6.2 and 1.2 ec
Runoff of soil is reading 5.5 ph and 1.0 ec
of the first plant tested so far
Second plant is 5.4 ph ec is 2.1
Can anyone help
Tips burnt is too much on the nutrient side and 6.2 is the wrong Ph for soil...you want to be between 6.5 & 7.2 ideally, this is causing a N lockout...flush Ph'd water @6.5 with 3 x volume of pot minimum, then feed 1/4-1/2 strength on next one.
Awesome, thanks.
Right now I'm in a 50/50 mix of Foxfarm Ocean Forest and Happy Frog.
Unless your water or food/medium is effecting the ph you really don’t need to ph soil.
As said if the medium mix is acidic add some Dolomite lime.
6.5 is what you should aim for in soil
different nutes get taken up at different ph levels and or lock others out honestly Kiss and ditch the ph up/down in soil Lime will buffer
