Ok so firstly.. the leaves on the top of the middle plant.. and only her....are split. Not sure if this looks bug related or if it's a deficiency or something.
2nd I have these spots on this plant only on the left side garden bed....not exactly sure what they are. Also some leaves have a dark edge to them and a slight curl.
3rd is this little yellow bug.....fat bottom skinny head looks like a mite maybe....couldn't get a bigger pic. I'm getting neem oil for the bugs soon....any other recipes welcome here.
@colacody could the thunder storm have had any sort of part in doing the split in the leaf? also the bugs maybe something similar to the chemicals you put on fruit trees to keep bugs away? just a thought
@eastwoodzbangin I wouldnt think so....the other leaves were fine....could be from the storm tho but.. wanna make sure there isn't something I'm missing or someone else has seen it...I'm more concerned about the spots at the bottom leaves of the left side plant right now.
@colacody I have spots JUST like that on one of my plants on two of its leaves as well. I am curious to know what's going on there because I have done the same thing to literally all 5 of my plants, yet that seems to be the only one with the problem?
Its out doors man, bugs are gonna come lol. But use some neem oil spray
once a week around the plant until flowers come to keep bugs away.
Also, plant looks a bit over watered mate, thats all, let the soil dry out abit before you water it again, or try and prevent any more rain getting on it

@macky this I need help on. Lower leaves still starting to yellow and curl up and fall off...moving up the plant. All 3 plants in same soil so I'm leaning towards a deficiency of some sort.
Ph has been 6.5 6.6 every feed
15ml per 4litres of floranova grow...8 litres each plant every 6 days right now
I have also put 2 cups of worm castings on top of each plant
Please help....dont think it will be a major issue but cant let it all go wrong this far in.....
yer man a touch of nitrogen will sort it out, but considering the size of the plant, its to be expected man. Give them some nitrogen to make it doesnt spread around the plant and it should be good

@macky I figured lol. Fuck these things are HUNGRY MAN. What can I use for top soil dressing other than worm castings....or maybe am I better to get some liquid kelp?
I am putting together a new article on this so i have that info fresh lol:
Alfalfa Meal: Contains nitrogen, but also contains phosphorus and potassium so be careful not to over feed. Alfalfa meal also encourages beneficial microbes to thrive.
Animal Manure: Grazing animal manure is best and can be an excellent source of nitrogen. If you're using manure, it should be well composted before use as it can burn your plants!
Blood Meal: Blood meal is heavy in nitrogen. It is easily dissolved into water and fed to your plants. But of course be careful, too much can cause damage to your plants, increase the feed gradually.
Compost: Though you can't be sure exactly what is in your compost, it can be used to top dress your plants to increase the amount of nutrients in the soil. There will be plenty of fresh nitrogen available in compost. But it will contain other nutrients, so be careful not to over feed!
Fish Meal: A source of nitrogen made from fish oil. Using fish oil is fast acting, and can be mixed with your water. This means you can feed it directly to your plant and see quick results.

@macky man....your just the best ya know that? I'm a get some of the blood meal to add to the water when I feed I think. Just the hungriest bitches around man!
Still looking like nitrogen def mate yes, but might be because of over watering. How much and how often are you watering them?

@macky every 6 days recently and soil is dry below surface....about an inch or so down it's still dry. We have some rain coming too but....could it benefit from some Epsom salts or not yet? I'm also gonna be adding the phytoplankton juice next watering. I've added the worm castings aswell but I'm not watering for another 7 days this time after this weekends rain.
So I have these leaves now. Probably I'm guessing with the food possibly may be a bit much in there or over water/feed... still bottom 3rd of the plant only....top half is rocking
Difficult one to pin point TBF man, but it looks like it could be a PK excess mate...... but it might also be a micro nutrient def, like sulphur, so maybe with all of the nuits added to the soil recently the ph has changed a bit too much.
Have you been checking the ph of the medium?

@macky I dont have a meter yet but should by next week. It makes sense to be an excess of those.....I'll be using a different nute for the next feed....just fish goop. Trying to increase the nitrogen I didnt realize this...look at the numbers...
Totally the issue....next fee feeds going to be the Alaska fish stuff....its a 5 1 1. I mean its not the worst thing....they are ready for just water next in a few days so I'll be feeding just water with the phytoplankton which is also this
Totally didnt think of that lol. Love it when I learn....they'll be fine lol
I'll be getting a 3 way meter thanks to @twisted1 and he should totally watch for this also as he just got these nutes...mind you I should have amended the soil better with worm castings and more nitrogen but....next year I'll be making a soil from a recipe.
Awesome man, looks like the most likely cause then. Lets see how she picks up

So to start....2 days ago....I fed a 5 1 1 fish fert and phytoplankton to each plant....4 litres each and it rained day after. They appear to be doing well....minor things on a few leaves.
Right plant
Middle plant
Left plant
I'm not sure if maybe a bit if epsom salts would benefit.....and it almost looks as if they are starting to flower? But we still have 14ish hours of light? Mind you summer solstice was June 21st ish
