Hi All,

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to the Card draw tonight 😊

Ive just noticed some of the top leaves are starting to go pale at the tips (see pics below)

It seems to be affecting all 3 plants.

Bit more information if it helps.

Day 27 from sprout

Average Temp is probably 27 with lights on and 23 off. It did get unto about 29.5 the other day but I opened the tent door to cool it down.

Have only been watering with tap water, pH between 6.0 and 6.6 so far and PPM of around 280. They had 1 feed 4 days ago with some gro, micro and bloom pH 6.5 and PPM 390.

Is this anything I should be concerned about? I haven't given any Cal-Mag at all yet however I have quite hard tap water. Im not sure if it was due to the increased temp the other day but im not seeing any leaves curling in.Β

What do you guy reckon?

@redeyejedi did I understand you correctly that your feed contained all 3 .... Grow, Micro, and Bloom? I’m also having to assume this the GH line. Is this correct?

@monkeydo Yes exactly mate, GH Flora Trio. Ive only used them once so far and it was a very dilute mix

1ml Gro

1ml Micro

0.5ml Bloom

All mixed with 1 Gallon of Tap Water. PPM was 390 and pH 6.5.

All 3 had that on 14th June which they drank very quick and since have just had tap water yesterday, pH 6.5, PPM 305.

I didn't notice any of this slight discolouring until earlier though.

Looks like a little nute burn. Between the nutrients in the soil and in the feed it’s a little to much. Try lowering the feed next time. All the manufacturers tell you to use at least twice as much as you really need so they can sell more product. You can always feed again later if she needs it.

@monkeydo OK thanks mate, glad you said as I thought it might of been a deficiency lol.

Yeah the bottle was recommending like 2ml of each so I thought id gone low enough but I guess it could of been too early to be adding nutes to soil anyway?

Do you think I should just give plain PH'd tap water for now? And if so how many days after sprout would you usually recommend introducing nutes when growing in soil? This particular soil is like a 70/30 perlite mix with a bit of bat guano pre mixed.

Sorry for all the questions

Soils can vary and sounds like you have tweaked your a bit. In soil the general recommendation is to wait till the upper soil drys out a little before watering again. If the soil has a lot of nutrients in it you might just need to use the ph adjusted water for now. Eventually when the nutrients in soil start to be depleted you can alternate between feed and water only. I’d also use no more than half the nutrients that are recommended on the label. That is plenty and sometimes that can even be reduced further.
