Some help needed. Im growing an auto in super soil about 30 days in and some leaves have small yellow spots on them. Dont think its a fungus problem as spots dont rub off. All environment factors seem to be ok. Bit stuck as to what i can do. Thanks in advance
@tenthsam pictures are needed for an accurate diagnosis mate. Also provide as much info as possible and we will try to get your grow sorted. What media (brand), nutrients if any (probably none with Supersoil), input ph and EC. Pictures are the most important thing now but ph is also very important.

The brand of soil is eco super soil. I have top fed it once with eco thrive about 2 weeks ago. Been giving water phd to 6.8 , last water was 6.15. Not sure of EC
Whats the RH in there and how often are you watering (assuming no nutes) ?
@zn is us about 55 in there at the moment. Iv not had too much issue with keeping this in range. I water with no nutes about 2-3 days. I was probably over watering intially but dont think so now
@tenthsam My initial thought was high humidity having an effect on the uptake of CalMag but as TG mentions, Mg can be washed out too
Looks like a bit of a magnesium deficiency to me... intra-veinal yellowing with those irregular dead spots. I also grow in supersoil and occasionally run into Mg def as well. As well, in a supersoil system, Mg is one of the more soluble elements and is relatively easily washed out, compared with others. I usually will treat it with Epsom Salts (MgSO4) - 2 tsp (~10mL) per gallon with every watering until morale improves.
Nice thick leaves though. 👍
@templegrower thanks for that info. Do you think more top feeding with eco thrive may help or should i just get some epson salts?
Hmm, I don't have any experience using Ecothrive, so I would say go for the Epsom Salts. Ha. It works great and is cheap. Looking at their products/ingredients, ES should be fine to use with that mix. They're general fert says it has Mg in it via the crustacean meal but, it might not be a lot (plants LOVE Mg - it's the central atom in the chlorophyll molecule), or it might be slower release than what is needed.
If they have a product you like for Mg supplementation, I'm sure that would be fine as well. I like ES b/c I'm a cheap bastardo.. 🤣

So the epsom salts definately was improving things. But i just checked her today and has quite a few brown, dry and brittle leaves particulary at the bottom. Is this because i have over done it with magnesium?

No, i don't think so. I'd say you were just too late to save those bits.. haha. It's on the oldest leaves of the plant so, that's where it would have taken the most Mg out of the soonest (in theory) so they'd be the first to go. No worries though. They should be just fine. Just keep it up with your regular regimen the ES until the leaves are nice and evenly green again.
