Suggestions Save $! Humidity Pack Hack!

@im_sparky Yea I like them, I've used them since my 2nd grow, put it this way using these packs are the best way for a beginner to ensure they get a good result. My 1st cure was a little wet, not so bad that it was a problem but far from perfect, my 2nd I didn't do anything different except using the humidity packs and I got a great result. Now I just use them because its easy, I don't need to open jars or do anything.

I've never had to use them on over dried buds that I grew myself but i know it works because for the past few months I've been buying locally and I've been using the swelled up packs to rehydrate buds and its been very successful most of the time. But you can use higher % packs instead, 62% or the 70% packs for a day or 2 then use a normal pack.

I'm now buying medical buds which are also dry, its been about 2.5 days since I started rehydrating them and the difference is already night and day. They barely had any smell/taste in the beginning and were crumbling dry. Now the moisture level is good and the smell/taste is improving significantly.

All I can say for certain is I'd much prefer to have these tasty rehydrated buds compared how they tasted dry even if there was a loss of something. If there was a loss its a weird one because it appears to have gained flavour.

Quite impressed with the high as well from all 3 strains they plateau close to the peak is the best way I can describe it. Normally I'd get a high like this from good expensive hash. Put it this way if I bought this on the street I'd be concerned it had something extra lol

@mix I've been looking around and the only solution I can find is something called a humidity stone. They used them on tobacco ships back in the old days. This is what some rosin lovers are using instead of humidity packs

@im_sparky yep I do this too, just make sure the packs aren't covered in trichomes and or plant matter before you close them up or you may end up with an unwanted film of mould on the packs, just a word of warning as I have seen it occur if your not careful 🙂

@bubblehok agreed,bro.  It may seem like overdoing it a bit, but I also think it is a good idea to put gloves on when moving packs and buds around -- it is just too easy to contaminate buds that are just below the humidity level for growing mold.

@im_sparky yea can you imagine accidentally using your buds as an incubator for your ass cheese that came from your finger from when you scratched it earlier
