So we had enough good trim and popcorn frozen to try a decarb and butter infusion.
plan was to have 15g to 450g of salted butter.
best laid plans and all, we had more trim than we thought so ended up 29g trim.
preheat oven to 105c. Bake tray for 20mims. I was getting high on the fumes out the back of the oven! Take out to cool.
preheat slow cooker, low heat.
chop butter in to cubes and put both butter and decarb to pirex measuring jug. Place in water, making sure water is half way up the mix.
Put lid in and stir ever hour. 3 n half hours infusing and stirring.
ay present I don’t have a strainer. But I have the cheese cloth. So 4 layers of that, mostly allowing gravity to drain the butter oil. Little squeeze at the end.
allow to cool for a bit and the place in fridge for the night.
Took dogs for walk this morning and on return greeted with
Happy Good Friday peeps. Hopefully I’ll be back to give an update on the outcome.

Nice one Littlegardens...I put about 2oz into 1kg of butter...and then put too much of that into the brownies. Then binned the lot, lol...

I used the double boiler method so not as exciting, lol...4 hours of topping up water levels and stirring...glad I have carbon filters on my cooker hood 
If you do it on a regular basis, a Magic Butter Machine is worth the investment.

Had a go at this last weekend with the trim from first plant. Was poor enough trim. Had about 20g, mixed with 200g butter.
used half the canna butter for about 10 small fairy cakes. They were lovely. I really enjoyed them, the Mrs had one and regretted it 😂

@zn I found the worstist of the smell second half of decarb, but yer, carbon filter hood helped. Just couldn’t help jamming my head down back of cooker 
Infusion didn’t smell to bad. I was worried it wasn’t going to be strong enough. Time now is. Later and feeling pretty chill
