Cannabis Honey - How much to have?

@noxxy Thats a good question. my wife and I have been weighing after decarb. and the edibles tend to be fairly potent.

as far  as dosage goes i would start small and add more if necessary to reach your desired potency. more than once ive ate one of our edibles and had a very uncomfortable day.

 I think this would be a great question to post in the questions for the show so Marge can give us the best answer, im sure others may have wondered the same thing.

@twisted1 Sounds like a good plan mate, i've got a few days off work so ideal time to test it haha, lets see if it lasts the week 🤣 🤣 🤣 If its post decarb i probably dont have to worry as much, was just concerned it would be rocket fuel 🤣 🤣 🤣 dont wanna have the Mrs finding me face down on the carpet  🤣 🤣 🤣

@noxxy it’s gonna be a suck it a see kinda thing I think mate I also think it may depend on the strength of the product you start with. I’d have thought a flower of say 17%THC would have a less of a hit then something say 28%. So like twisted says start of low and work you way up when trying to dose. Gonna make Marges honey cashews this week. Hopefully it’ll put me on my arse😂Good luck mate 👊✌️

@3plantspete Not sure on original strength, probably not that high as it was just my first run. But still did the trick. Will do, gona give it a bash every morning this week in my tea haha. Two tea spoons tomorrow, Three Wednesday, 4 Thursday, then wake up on Saturday 🤣

@noxxy im sure itll be fine  remember you can always add a little more but you cant undo what you've already ingested.  My first time making edibles i way over did it. I ate 1 cookie that still had me uncomfortably high the next day.

@noxxy I always weigh the weed after the decarb.  I think you get better accuracy this way.  Figuring out potency isn't too tricky though you'll likely have to guess the potency of the weed which can throw off the results but it's better than nothing!  I have a calculator over on my website that allows you to figure out the potency....its not perfect (I'm actually having a better one created for the site as we speak!) but it works.  That page also gives you the math behind the calculator if you wanna get out the ol' pen and paper!  I hope that helps, lemme know how it all turns out!  Don't overdose yourself lol

@twisted1 I've done that too....the only time I had to call in sick at work was when I foolishly ate too many fresh baked cookies (they were so good!).  I shoulda known better.  I got uncomfortably high and woke up high as fuck the next day...not in a good way lol
