Hi all, I found a ‘easy’ method for making chocolate with cannabis online that said to decarb the bud and then finely grind it and mix in with a bar of Cadbury’s. Sounds straight forward but anyone know if I have a coffee bean mold with 55 segments that hold 3.75ml each and a 200g Cadbury’s bar, for example, how to workout how much mg are in each segment if I had 3g of 17% weed? My maths is appalling! Thanks all.
17% of 3gr is 0,51gr or 510mg (1000mg = 1gr)
I assume you are going to decarb in your home oven (how will you decarb?). If so, according to some experiment results you can find online, after decarb you'll have around 70% of the cannabinoids left (THC, CBD...) so 70% of 510mg is 357mg. This because you are using home equipment rather than lab equipment.
If you mix that 200gr bar with the 3gr of decarb weed containing 357mg of cannabinoids (THC I assume) and then you portion that into 55 segments, you have 55 segments each containing 3,63gr chocolate and around 6,5mg cannabinoids. That assuming you mix your weed and chocolate uniformly.
I hope I did my math right 🤓 , if not anybody is welcome to scold correct me 🤣
Those are the numbers though, it is also important to try it out, listen to your body and see how you respond. Everybody's body reacts differently, some feel the effect after 30 minutes, others need hours.
