I have decided too share my very quick and easy attempt at making my very first bach of cannabis butter. It started of with me collecting around 50 gram of trim after my last harvest and not wanting to waste anything i decided to keep it and let it dry, after hunting round youtube and ofcourse around here and canna educators webpage an so on i decided to give this cannabutter a go. I decarbed my trim in the oven for around 45mins at 107c and let cool, after I took 2 and a half small blocks off unsalted irish butter and the now cooled trim and placed it into a large crok-pot and filled with water until the trim was just submerged, I then put on lowest temp setting and stirred roughly every 2hours, after giving it 6 hours to stew i used a combination of a unused mesh laundry bag and some new unused cheap cloths (that are almost the same material as cheese cloth) too catch the plant matter as i poured the butter water mix into the fresh pan underneath and then strained as much of the butter back out of the leaves in the cloth. I left it to cool for a few hours so the butter an water would seperate, so then i had to remove the butter that has hardened ontop of the water so I could remove the water. to finish off i then reheated the cannabutter to remove any last impurities and poured into its final containers and returned to the fridge to cool.
I did not remeber at the start to get my phone an snap some pics but i did eventually remeber so here is what i did manage to snap

that looks really good, how did it taste? I made some as well and made it into brownies, worked really well.

looks good mac, i wonder if its possible to make it with the fake butter you know the stuff im talking about. im lactose intolerant so real butter is a no no for me. not that it bothers me to much, its the people in the immediate vicinity have a problem ? ? ? ?
@green-beard seems to me it would work Im sure Canna Educator will be around He would no for sure, but it infuses into oils easy just be careful of how strong you make it mine gave me a bad day

@macky hmmm dunno mate the taste is not nice for me loool but i did jus put a dollop over some toast as a try an yeah i was not in a good way lol. After a while i did feel slightly different but not sure man loooool

@green-beard yeah you can infuse any lipid at all. olive, vegetable, i usualy just fill up caps with 100% MCT oil mixed with either trim or medical grade RSO
