Hoping I'm posting this correctly new to using forums
Posting a few pictures of my new grow tent setup. Did a bit of research and purchased everything off Amazon.
- 4x4x8 Grow tent - Vivosun
- 6 inch AC infinity fan
- Vivosun Carbon Filter
- 2 Vivosun VS1000 LED grow light
- TaoTronics Humidifier
- 2 Hurricane clip on fans
- Picking up oscillating fan today
I currently have 8 plants in the tent (which I know is too many) but after determining sex of plant I may be down a few more and it will be easier to maintain. Worse case scenario I put one or two in the back yard or have to give away.
Current strains planted in soil FoxFarm Ocean Forrest:
Growing Start Date - 3/22/21
- (3) Obama Runtz (which are the bigger trees of the bunch) - 3/24
- (2) Peanut Butter Breath (second biggest of the group) Overwatered in the begging - 3/22
- (2) Purple Cake (The Runts of the litter) Overwatered in the begging - 3/22
- (1) Dosilato # 8 (last one to join the gang) Overwatered in the beginning - 3/26
Plants are currently in 1lb plastic pots transplanting to 5 gallon grow bags this weekend.
Just a side note the plants are clones and were picked up from different sourcesSo I made the newbie mistake of overwatering and the plants and they are now recovering 🙁 Temps and Humidity - Currently running at 76 degrees and 55-60% Humidity.
Feeding them distilled water, GH FloraNova, CaliMagic, & Amor Si. Once a week.
Sorry for the whole play by play story but I just want to make sure that I get it all out there for positive or negative feedback. I am a sponge and would like to consume the growing green knowledge!!!
I have some earlier photos and some that are from this morning as you see the transitioned my tent for optimal heating, humidity, and lighting.

Welcome to Percy’s brother, that’s a lot of plants for a 4x4, but you have to start somewhere.

Thanks guys appreciate the feedback! It's definitely starting to sink in that 8 plants is definitely too many plants for a 4x4. But I do have a back up plan I just received an extra tent because mine was damaged when I received it. Might have to check the budget and get the other tent up running and do 4 and 4. Put one VS1000 LED grow light in each tent. Will provide up update if I do!

and yes, you have way to many in a 4x4 (2 to 4 depending on technique and grow style).....😉
