Hi folks I need to buy a humidifier my room is just too hot 🔥🥵 and dry, plants are fine with the cup over but their too big now and struggling so going to get a humidifier. I was looking for recommendations I've seen some on amazon for about £45 a 5l one with the ability to set humidity instead of just chucking out puffs of mist. Is this a good price or are cheap ones just as good thanks
If its ultrasonic, they all work the same...same components, just usually a bigger tank is the difference and justification for the price...humidistat is a cheap add on and dont usually for too long
Get an Inkbird IHC200 and any humidifier but dont go to a hydro shop, double the price 😉

this is the one ive been using set it to 60% and it would last for 12hrs before needing a refill , auto shut off when empty problem is its out of stock at amazon at the emoment

@buster2704 The RAM humidifier is pretty reasonable for £37, 5ltr, auto off and controllable output...only problem with ultrasonic humidifiers is hard water...If you live in a hard water area, they wont last long
The Taotronics is spot on.
One thing to note is you will struggle to find a humidifier that comes on when power is applied ie.via an inkbird humidistat. Most require a physical button press to come on.
The Tao has a good humidistat built in
The water around here is moderately hard. Not much residue. As long as you clean regularly tap water is fine.
