All,

I am interested in upgrading from a low tech array of eight 9w LED bulbs from a garden center to a proper, but cheap, bar style light. Some important details about my setup:

-Small (1 x 0.5 m), non-enclosed grow area

-Micro-grow / SOG methods

-Coco

Any thoughts are most welcome!

Thanks!

dr.jb

@dr-jitter-bug

lots of great reviews on migro utube channel by shane worth checking out..

for budget end i think there is now decent choices including mars, visper spectre and others..

for 0.5m2 you would want around 160-200w to maximise your yields i would say..

im sure others can recommend particular lights theyve used.. nothing i've used is suited for that size space so i cant tell u a particular light to go for but i'd expect a budget end 200w light to cost about £160ish in uk and same similar in $ in US

happy shopping and hope u find something suitable u like

Time to pop some more beans 😗

Invisible suns v3 range have lights suitable for that space at a more sane budget. The first two in that line are the ones to look at.

@dr-jitter-bug, yes Shane Migro light reviews covers  a lot of lights and gives a lot of spec's to review. Good starting point. Might have the name wrong but it should get you there. I'm looking for a smaller light too and am looking at the Spider Farms maybe. I have a 3x3/90x90 area that I'm thinking about using. Maybe even a t-5 set-up would work for you. Just a thought. Good luck man, peace.
