Hi guys was looking at getting some more bits for my next setup and going to purchase a inkbird controller. What heater do you guys use to keep temps up ? It's not an outside grow so won't be freezing but I may need something to bring it up when the lights are off ?
Also I was looking at the inkbird controllers they do a WiFi one to monitor temps from your phone do you guys think it's worth the extra 10 15 quid to get that one or just buy the normal one cheers
If your grow room is in WiFi distances defo get it,
Make sure u don't go crazy with the appliances with inkbird not all are compatible,
Heaters you want one them oil radiator tht just turn on and off try and avoid digital products

@buster2704 I would definitely get the WIFI InkBird controller. I have 2 and they are great. Not just for monitoring but you can adjust the settings from your phone app.
If the temps is getting too high you can drop it lower.
They also have alert settings to notify you if the temp starts going outside your set limits. Really good piece of kit.
I use a 1000/2000w convection heater on an Inkbird if needed, no fans, no lights just a warm stream of air that mixes well in the tent...can mount it half way up the tent too which you cant do with an oil rad, so it takes up no valuable floor space, just remove the feet 😉
Here's one that I just got a few weeks ago. I got the Mainstays oil heater WSH0702A. The main reason I got this one is it has three different settings. 600-900-1500 watts. I've paired it with the Inkbird ITC-306T day/night controller. I can set this on 900 watts and not worry. The cord doesn't get even warm or anything. My last heater was a straight 1200 watts controlled through a Inkbird ITC-308. With that set-up, the heater and the Inkbird cords would get warm, not hot but differently warm. That my 2 cents, hope it helps. Good luck @Buster2704.
@buster2704 , remember that all the Inkbirds are 1200 watt max. And you want to be less than that. If you are going to run anything at full power like a heavy drawing heater, get a Smoke Detector!!! Regardless, feel up your power cords daily, your cords will like it, and so will you. Read and understand the labels on all your stuff. Be safe man, sometimes you only get one shot. peace
Good safety precautions @woodi2, also to add that most of these heaters, air cons, dehumidifiers say not to use extension cords. I'm guilty of using one when I run my air because I don't want it on the same circuit as the rest of my equipment, however I use the heavy duty extension cord with larger gauge wire specifically made for such things. I still don't like it and one of these days I'm going to hard wire it's own circuit. Safety first, weed second... 😎
We just smiled n waved sittn there on that sack o seeds
remember that all the Inkbirds are 1200 watt max
Only applicable @120v...@220v in UK you can run 2000w 😉
