Questions Pruning during flowering

Welcome to Percy's @gmac2k22, glad you made it here. This is a controversial subject, lol. So some people don't even top auto's and other mutilate them without a problem. It depends on what medium your growing in, coco/hydro is easier to feed and help the plant along, where soil the plant has to rely on what's available to them and they may need everything they have so removing leave may hurt later on if the soil becomes depleted then the plant will call on the leaves to empty their storage. Plus each plant is different so that may changes things a bit.

  But if you don't defoliate then you can always "tuck the fan leaves", that's what's recommended. Carefully move the large fans down and around behind other leaves or something, you'll get the hang of it, and you'll snap a leaf or two here and there but just keep at it and tuck/hide those big babies. Minimal defol on autos . Scuplt her . Don't deprive her of her energy in this vital stage - unless a fan is creating more shade than it is absorbing light - leave it alone IMO - Tuck em if you have to - just my 2p.

 I clean up the bottoms mid way through week 2 of flower and do it once a week there on after with heathy plants.   ( warning ) If you lollipop too early you will shock the plant and it will bolt for the sky and also If you cut off too many fan leaves and you end up having issues later on your in trouble so imo tuck tuck tuck.

If it's for airflow I wait until the stretch has finished and then assess. But mainly tuck, as the others advised.
